« Fantastic welcome, perfect location, needs some TLC »

The lady who checked us in and checked us out was amazing! Best person we have come across in a hotel in years! However, despite us booking the superior room, maintenance and attention to detail in cleaning is required. Lack of bar is also a problem.

Dear Accor Team, I had booked one room at future Mercure in Cannes. Please allow me to say that this was the worst hotel I have ever seen in my entire life. I booked it because it was featured on Accor and I did trust the Accor brand. The room was extremely dirty, a danger for public health. I have a baby and we couldn’t sleep all night because of the dust. I took pictures and videos as I am outraged by such a room. I literally stayed awake all night as I was disgusted to touch anything in the room. As soon as the sun was up, i ran out not to stay in the room: I spoke to the réception they acknowledged that the room I had was, as per their say: « the worst room in the hotel ». This is unacceptable that such a room is for rent. It should be condemned. The lady at the réception apologized and explained that the rooms are being renovated. So I paid for a gross room, a danger for public health. I demand to be fully reimbursed. If i show you the videos and pictures, you will never get a 4 star status for this hotel. It is simply a shame!

Very nice staff the best ever and so friendly but the owner needs to sort this place out unless you pay loads of money you get an awful room thats still over £100 and thats without breakfast old room very small, my televisiono only one channel worked in room 108 and no kettle which is pretty bad! Broken shower head! A pube i found in my bed not good! My medication was thrown away by cleaners oviously by mistake but they denied it but it can't vanish on its own! Then my lipstick and a face cream gone from my room these cleaners are no good and need replacing they don' t even clean the room well! Now when i had to move from a nicer room to the bad room i was told no breakfast even though i had been here over a week now and moved to a back dated horrible room after i said my medication gone by the cleaner you would think the least they would do is say i can have breakfast included so not to happy about this to be honest i found now some nicer hotels same prices nearby but this is bad for the money they charge to be honest its like a glorified hostel but the good thing your in the centre of everything.

Couldn't have asked for a better location, short walking distance to beaches and old town and lots of cafes and restaurants in the vicinity. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the room was very clean with a lovely view onto the below streets.

Very pleasant stay. Nice rooftop lounge area where we enjoyed the complementary glasses of wine, olives, and snacks. Close to shops, restaurants, the bus station, the railway station and the beach. Enjoyed the hotel.

The shower was totally inadequate. Overhead part was a dribble, hand held was the total opposite. So awkward to shower in. That was our first room, of a 2 night stay. The mattress was broken, we were moved when we complained. New room, better shower but the mattress in the next room was hardly an improvement. Initially offered breakfast by way of compensation for a nights sleep(or lack of). Perhaps in hindsight the offer of breakfast should have been taken up, €17 each for breakfast was far more generous than the frankly insulting €10 discount applied at check out. If this is a Future Mercure hotel in needs vast improvements to be in line with other Mercure hotels. Really regret booking this hotel and feel quite let down by using the App with the hope it would actually be as good as others in the brand.

Only one thing could improve the experience the rooftop breakfast is brilliant but maybe put some sort or seagull deterrent around the roof might as seagulls stare at you eating your breakfast waiting to steal it , it is quite uncomfortable

Cleaning staff are very annoying. They do not understand what the do not disturb sign is for and insist on cleaning my room and replacing soaps, towels etc that are still perfectly usable when I hadn't even been there 24 hours! At one point I walked out of the bathroom to find the lady in charge of cleaning stood in my room!

I was attending a conference at the nearby Palais des Festivals. The hotel was very conveniently located and easy to reach on foot. Close to the train stations well as the beaches. The front desk staff were very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was lovely on the sunny roof deck. The room rates were reasonable. The shops were right along the main street and restaurants, pubs and cafes nearby. I highly recommend this hotel. And I do not often do that.
