From the staff to the food & the overall hotel experience, this is definititely one of my favourite places to stay in Belgium. One of the excellent things about Novotel Charleroi is that they managed to integrate a Belgian & "Black Country" touch within their own brand. The breakfast is superb & the terrace very special, great staff, service, drinks selection in a superb décor. I've been there 3 or 4 times & am excited about the next visit. Love every bit of it. ( Great for families too as your are right by a shopping mall, the main plaza & a stroll away from the main station). Bravo guys, Xavier

Check in was swift, very friendly, everything explained correctly. Breakfast was nice. It is in walking distance to the trainstation so instead of staying close to the airport this is an easy option as well.

Reception service 10/10 unfortunately I had ordered breakfast between 06 and 07 at my room and there was none delivered. After mentioning it at the reception they were quite fast with it and I had it. Also, I got the discount on the parking but according to the person at the reception it should be around €15 ended up paying around €18. My points from my 2 stays are also not added on my accord account. Other than that very good experience and will be staying again in the future

« Great location, pretty hotel, efficient and clean. »

After a few brief moments finding the entrance of the hotel, the welcome was prompt, efficient, and friendly. Hotel room was clean and it was much appreciated that the beds were made up for our children as we made a reservation for a family stay. only issue was with the cafe machine in the lobby. During my breakfast experience, there was sour milk inside the machine. All other breakfast service was fine otherwise.

Sofa bed not made up and no duvet or pillows for sofa bed. Safe not working Not enough towels for family However these were rectified when we raised this issue. Breakfast on day 1 run out of certain cooked food

A very warm greeting from the reception staff, and the lady in particular who wished me happy birthday as did her male colleague , received a room upgrade to a suite! nice birthday present. Enjoyed a great burger. Breakfast was good there were some items that had run out, think there may have been a large group in just before we arrived. All the staff where friendly and approachable. We enjoyed out stay, see you next year.

Absolutely impossible to figure out where to pull up / park to check into hotel. Google maps takes one to a dead end across the plaza from the hotel. Took us 30 mins to then find the Rive Gauche parking lot. Hotel owners made a giant mistake with the white walls in the hallway. Hallways already look beat up for what appears otherwise to be a relatively new hotel. Need some artiginiale / craft beers at bar.

I booked through the accor-website and you invited me to become a member, to check-in automatically, to check-out automatically... I followed the lenghty procedures, which is ok since I understand you must enter some more data as a first time user. However I don't understand, that the real check-in then takes again the same time as usual. E.g. the invoice wasn't ready with the company's address. When breakfast is ready 6.30 am the coffee-machines should be ready as well and you shouldn't have to ask the receptionist to switch them on and to end the cleaning-programme. Finally I would expect to have the latest newspaper available to browse the old-fashioned way through the news taking your breakfast. The rest of the stay was ok. Everything was clean and the staff was friendly.

The room was not properly cleaned and there were food crumbs on the lounge and desk. Otherwise very nice and a very pleasant stay. The reception staff was EXCEPTIONAL. Welcoming and helpful. It made my first stay a delight from the start.
