Lighting outside is is bad. It is very low intensity. Light Should be stronger. Too many stairs. There should be a lot more ramps. (My wife and me galled once). For a luxury hotel with a lot of room space there is No Iron

The hotel facilities are very great, the pool area is fantastic, etc. Service is strange for a hotel like this. At dinner we ordered coffee twice, never received it. Then we went to the bar in the late evening and ordered coffee. We were told this is not possible. Then we went to reception and the man told us the same. However we could order room service. However, they will not be able to bring it to the bar. Luckily the manager on duty came by, went to the bar with us and suddenly we got coffee. This is terrible service. Also, we tried to order a taxi once. We were told only hotel taxis for 250 dirham. Usual price is 150. We said can you please order a normal cab and this was not possible. Are you a five star hotel or not? We have been to a Riad in town before which was much cheaper and had a much better service, even though it had no stars. If you charge such high prices everything should be perfect. Would not recommend the hotel.

When we arrived we were pleased with the ambiance and the room. We came for Raja and Esha's wedding and hence had to iron all our clothes. I asked for an iron early Friday morning. After several requests I received one just before I was leaving for a visit into the city. On my return later that day the iron had been removed. I called again several times, and Knowing that the party was going to start at 7pm, I got a call around 645 saying that somebody would come an collect our clothes to get ironed. . The person came but the clothes were not returned for another hour hence and that was only after anther several phone calls. Hence we were an hour or so late for the start of the Friday evening party. Not wanting this to happen for Saturday I gave my clothes to the person and asked them to be ironed for Saturday morning. The only reason I gave my clothes to your hotel for ironing was because your reception told me to do so due to the fact that I was not receiving an iron. However I was outraged that I then had to fight to get the charge removed from my bill. I was told on Saturday evening that that the bill would be removed but I was horrified to find that there were apparently two bills for ironing and only one had been removed and I had to fight again to remove the other. Not only this but on Saturday evening during the party in the gardens, my son was close to the bar where there was a sign stating that all drinks for the wedding party were free. No time was stated. My son asked for a water after informing him he was from the wedding party and the barman did not mention any cost or time after which the drinks would be free. Only after he opened the bottle the barman gave him a bill for 50 Dirham and told about the time. Again this was quite unacceptable service from a hotel hosting such a wedding. Finally when ordering food and drinks by the pool it took nearly an hour for these to arrive. I can possibly understand a delay in making the food but an hour to get the drinks was inexcusable on such a hot day.

Lovely resort with beautiful grounds and pools. The was however certain aspects that let the overall service down. We were attending a wedding and would have expected irons in every room but there were none. Twice I asked for iron for 3 rooms but none came. the 2nd day of our stay my parents room had no large mugs for tea. My room only had one towel and no large mugs for tea. We did order some drinks to the GYM pool but it took 40 minutes to come. The breakfast was slow at the egg station long queues. The 3rd day checking out we did find small ants in our room by the closet feeding on a cockroach. But overall it did not ruin our experience as we were busy with the wedding.

Everything was really amazing, from check-in to spa Treatments (Adil was extraordinary with his reflexology expertise!), to F&B, room (especially mattress & pillows!). Only potential glitch which could have been avoided is to get more professionals hair dresser/stylist (like many more Marie instead of only one!), to take care of us all throughout the 4 days. I know a lot of friends got frustrated of the slow execution of their treatments. But I also know everyone was trying their best! great job overall and beautiful hotel!

« An oasis of tranquil luxury with outstanding service »

This was my fourth stay at the Royal Palm Marrakech in as many years. My best friend and I love to immerse ourselves in pure unadulterated luxury for 3 nights and do nothing but eat, drink, swim and sunbathe. The quality of accommodation, food and beverage is outstanding. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Happy people. I'd particularly like to mention Ayoub who made sure that we wanted for nothing during our power tanning marathons by the pool. Thank you Ayoub, I hope that we see you again next year.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay, especially because of one young staff member who was so thoughtful and kind he made our poolside trips more than memorable. His attention to detail, customer service and memory of our names was remarkable. He even brought our 4 year old daughter a cake with candle to celebrate her birthday.
