« Lovely but crowded »

I love rixos and this is my 7th visit to rixox the palm but this time we faced 2 issues in our stay : 1- the no reservations issue with all restaurants and the crowd in the pool and I guess the reason is the neighbours apartments rent 2- our favorite room is 1333 and unfortunately we faced a water leakage for 2 days

Our 1st time to Dubai and this hotel. We’ve had an amazing holiday. The hotel is spotless in every way. Our room was very spacious, quiet and kept very clean by our maid/cleaner. The choice of food is outstanding with something for everyone. All staff are very pleasant, polite and attentive. Far to many staff to mention who made our whole experience a great one, but 2 members of staff in particular do need a mention as they went over and above in ensuring we were looked after. These are Syed in the main restaurant who catered for all our needs even when not covering our seating area. Syed would make a good manager one day hopefully. Then there was Maninder who worked so hard around the Breeze Pool Bar. We always sat on the beach and we were never without whether it be water, mocktails, cocktails and nibbles. Again credit to him for all his hard work and dedication even in the extreme heat. Felt the hotel was suitably situated for getting around especially as taxis are so reasonable. Our first experience of Dubai, the culture and sights to be seen were a truly great experience and we are already looking at our next trip.

Check-in took close to an hour. We had booked online through the Accor members app which didn't send the booking information to the hotel. Awesome start... The Rixos reception staff did come through in the end with a room upgrade to a Junior Suite. Lovely room with a resort and ocean view. It was a pity we had an early morning flight back to Sydney. The 'All Inclusive' food and drinks is great if you plan to be at the resort all day for your meals. The alcohol section is very average/ low quality options for Spirits and Wine. Given the price was AED 600 or AUD $250 pp/day.... I would expect a selection a little more premium. There were also a few limitations on the food you could select in the restaurants too. It was a mission to get AED 600 pp value in 24 hours. The resort is very good quality and a lovely oasis away from the malls and skyscrapers of Dubai. We will be back.

We stayed for a long weekend as a family and we booked the ultra inclusive package. It was very convenient to have our meals at the hotel instead of going outside. The only downside is that the buffet gets really busy and the other restaurants are only available for dinner and require a reservation.

Great hotel, great staff and good food. My family and I had a wonderful stay. My only negative comment was that there was not much in the way of evening entertainment apart from the steak restaurant where a fantastic band played.

Check In experience was slow and took bit long. Very nice property and well maintained. We loved the Turquoise restaurant where we had our excellent breakfast. Endless options for everyone from Juices Tea ( Turkish Special tea) Coffees and Kids section. We were upgraded to 3 bedroom Suite

We didnt enjoy this time as before. First we didn’t like new system with cutted all inclusive, it s bring as well many mess. Going turquoise restorant we ask to remove water cos it’s not anymore part of our all inclusive, in one bar we were refused served house wine cos they didn’t know which wine now housewine and send us another bar. It was very bad experience even so before we could choose between souviniong blanc or Chardonnay and know we forced to drink wherever available even if don’t like it. We went to a poolbar and it was disappointed cos staff was jumping up and down ( there s no proper bar in the pool, they doing everything upstairs) so u are waiting too long until someone attended u and if there s a bit more people they have mess- instead cocktails they putting full glass of ice only , wines- for some people half glass for another full glass- wherever thay have time. It was look so bad that we left. I should notice that most of bartenders don’t know there work at all. We didn’t like food in chill lounge as well, I don’t know it depends on a chef or a hotel but the beach sneaks are one of the worst among dubai s hotels. In Loco Torro dinner we were refused to serve extra main corse for our child, as they told 2 adults have main corse and child eats from kids menu, so what I should do if my child not eat this food? It was 30 min negotiating between guest relations and restaurant to allow order 3 main course on a table and my question is what is the meaning of “ ULTRA “ all inclusive u advertising. In last time I think this meaning not applicable on ur hotel any more. We decide not to book ur hotel for a while until some changes come

« Enjoyed the stay found the staff extremely helpful and polite and the accommodation extremely good. »

We found it a great experience the staff and hotel very good. The grounds are extremely well kept and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Only issue we found was at breakfast we felt we had to wait around 10 mins to get coffee and suggest that the staff have coffee to ho round and fill up rather than wait for one service station to fill up. Also the person taking room numbers needs a better system to seat the residents when there are too many people waiting. Otherwise everything else was great
