We decided to make our first holiday with our 7 1/2 months old baby in Antalya and selected Rixos Premium Tekirova as baby friendly hotel. Previously, together with my wife, we had great experience on Rixos Premium Belek, Maxx Royal & Titanic Deluxe as competitive facilities to Rixos Premium Tekirova. Greetings when we arrived hotel was great. Representative gave brief introduction of facility. We accommodated in room # 2183. Pros; Facilities; It was really good welcome entrance. Bar next to reception and place to sit next to there was very useful. Easy access to beach and pool area. Personnel; Waiter & waitress were very friendly. Room; Baby bed arrived immediately as well as baby shower. Room was decent size and balcony was a plus. Food; There were HIPP organic baby food & specially cooked meal for our baby. Once we gave our room #, within 5 mins baby meal arrived to table for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Great service. Also, we asked for the home-made Yogurt, it was not available but hotel purchased Organic Pinar Yogurt for baby. Cons; Barbeque smoke on room; During noon & evening time, barbeque smoke was directly in balcony of the room. For a five star hotel, that was annoying. We were able to guess what will be cooked on lunch & dinner. Bath leaking water & toilet water pipe was not fixed; Once we got shower; unfortunately, all bath was under water. Also, toilet water pipe was loosely attached. Air condition miss placed; Air condition was blowing into bed where we got sick in day-1 by using 1 hr 24 Celcius degree during night. Designs of the rooms are not well thought. At least a manual ventilator on top of bad or a ventilator could be placed in room. Mosquitos in facility; Due to air-condition is directly targeting the bed, we were not able to turn on to protect baby. The only way to decrease room temperature is opening the balcony door to allow fresh air inside. However; the night that balcony door left open, we all were beaten by mosquitos including 7 1/2 months old baby. Waiters number & Surly bartenders; The waiters were overall very dedicated both in main restaurant and pool & beach side. However; it was sometimes hard to catch one. When you asked from pool site bar or entertainment area bar at evenings, I cannot say the same for the bartenders & mixologists. Baby got virus in hotel; Although facility cannot control and not reliable for the health issues, our baby experience foot, hand and mouth disease in facility (it happened on the last day of stay) although we did not make any direct contact with pool. She got 38 C fever the night before leaving facility and once we arrived Ankara we ended up in an emergency service due to 38.8 C fever and growing scar on foot and mouth. I was just about the cancel my flight to UK. Restaurants inside of facility; Although it was booked as ultra inclusive, I surprised there are restaurants inside of facility you should still pay to eat there. That shows the hotel cheaper. Overall; Comparing with other Hotels that I stayed in region "Maxx Royal Belek, Titanic Deluxe, Rixos Premium Belek", Tekirova was not an hotel, I would recommend. Still it is great facility and deserves 5 star in my point of view but Premium conditions was under estimated. Regards Gorkem

my family and I would like to say "çok teşekkür ederim", all things were perfect, your team is best of the best. And thanks a lot to some employees directly: 1. Tahir - front office manager. He did all things to allocate our family in accordance with our request and he was ready to help us always. 2. Pool villas restaurant - i would like to mention aşçımız harika (our pool villas restaurant chef) :) , çok lezzetliydi. He is really best. And cooker of yummy restaurant is best,  all dishes were very yummy :), my son was happy. Other employees, namely Birol, Mehmet Ali, Okan are very good employees. Really good job and we appreciate for their efforts. 3. Guest relations employees for the pool villas area - Elena, Marina, Alla. They are ready to help always and helped us very quickly 4. Football activities - Sarkan and Maxim. It was fun time, thanks to them If I did mistakes in their names, I'm awfuly sorry :)

Amazing facilities. So much to do for kids and families. We have a baby (11 months) and a 3 year old and there was lots for both to enjoy both day and night. Good choice of restaurants and food variety. Friendly and lovely staff. Very family friendly. We were in a pool suite. Amazing to have our private deck and semi private pool. Most days we were the only ones in our pool. It was so convenient as we could put the baby down for a nap in the room, while our older child could enjoy the pool and we were all close together. Having a pool room also meant having access to the Veranda restaurant which was lovely and we could mix up eating here with eating in the main restaurant or speciality restaurants. One thing I didn’t see advertised before we arrived were the bbq corners. The chef cooks the food in front of you. At Veranda restaurant (possibly also main restaurant?) you can make requests for the chef to cook steak, shrimp etc. on the BBQ for you. This was really nice and we often got steaks specially cooked in Veranda restaurant. Our only disappointment was that we had an ongoing cockroach problem in our room. We complained and the staff immediately cleaned and sprayed our room with insect killer. The cleaners were very helpful and attentive. But we continued to find cockroaches (albeit now dead ones - they were presumably dying from the insect killer). Every day we found cockroaches and everyday the staff were very responsive but the problem persisted. In the end, we felt unable to stay in the room having found 9 in one night - one under the baby’s cot! We immediately asked to change room as we were very uncomfortable staying there due to this issue, and we were immediately accommodated. We changed room and spotted one cockroach there too, although the room was sprayed straight away and then no further were spotted. Unfortunately, this really made our holiday much less enjoyable. If it wasn’t for the problem in our room I would have given the hotel the highest rating.

We have stayed in Rixos Premium Tekirova on 2014 in our honeymoon and it was a fantastic week for us. So we decided to revisit the hotel with our 3 old daughter this year. With considering the expectations from a premium hotel, Unfortunately the service becomes worse with in 5 years. Welcoming during checkin and farewell was not pretty good. No one really helped us to checkin and checkout which was a really bad experience i have ever had. As family, we don't prefer to drink alcohol but at one evening, i kindly asked Corona (which is 14-15 TRY in groceries) to drink and i was asked to pay 8 EUR for one beer in a premium hotel !! It was not a 20 years old whisky, just a beer. We were shocked with 8 EUR beer in a premium hotel. We have stayed almost all premium hotels like Gloria Serenity, Voyage Hotel's etc but i haven't had such a bad premium service...

Loved the hotel, the staff was friendly but some had difficulty with English. The Rixy club is excellent, the best so far for us, the kids loved their stay, the staff working with the kids were all great. One negative aspect was the wi-fi connection, in the room (3-rd floor) the signal was very weak, connection was lost often, I had to sit next to the front door so that I can work on my computer. There are only two ramps for strollers on each side of the beach, it would have been easier wit the kids if there was one more close to the Island bar.

Disappointed the Rixy facilities did not open until 10am. Our children wake at 6:30 after finishing breakfast at 8am we had 2 hours to try and occupy the children until anything opened. Not very many English speaking staff which caused quite a few issues for us, therefore we would look for a different hotel next year based on recommendations where English are better catered for.

1) no space for luggage in the room(we had only 3 hand luggage items) 2) not enough hangers in the room 3) we left tips for cleaning lady but found that they were taken by person who update mini bar 4) there were no normal alcohol. Only lobby bar had Hennesy. there were no Martel at all 5) instant coffee and instant mashed potatoes are unacceptable for premium hotel 6) some waiters didn't understand any language -- no English, no Russian even not Turkish(instead of mint tea all the time brought us just black tea, or black tea with milk or just milk) 7) It was not clear when hotel's aqua park work . Signs does not match real time. Does it work at all? 8) Most of kids entertainments Arte for additional price. 9) Kids animation is going on during the middle of dinner time.

The hotel is very nice, but staff are rude, did not receive answers at asked questions, very rude waiters, at the reception are working inexperienced personal, we stayed at a garden villa, the cars that were supposed to help us get at different locations throughout the hotel territory were not stoping, in the booklet it was written that they will be stopping by every 15 minutes, we waited over 30 minutes nobody drove by, no general plan were the toilets, shopps, are situated on the territory, in the room the showers were horrible, all the water was spilled out on the floor after taking shower, I had requested other pillows because the one that were in the room were very uncomfortable, I was promised that it will be delivered in the room but nobody brought anything, after 12 no place to it propper food, only in the main restaurant but the selection of offered food was very poor, the period of dinner very short , and it overlapped with the time for kids disco, no one coul give proper information regarding the entertainment program and where it was taking place. Very long distance from the villa to the beach, during the day we nearly fainted due to the sun and distance , with two kids it became a challenge to get from the villa to the beach and from the beach to the villa. No plan of ways how to get from one location to another. At the restaurant in fruit section was offered ananas but when requested it not offered and very rude staff , the food was not so nice, very hard to find an available table. Very disappointed.

The first room that you assigned for us, it wasn't suitable for our family (room 1340). The bathroom was very, very, small and the bed wasn't suitable for three persons, because there were two single beds, separated from each-other. We didn't accept this room and the reception gave us another standard room (1729), that was better, but the air condition wasn't good, because if you wanted a temperature of 24 or more degrees, it didn't work. The maximum of temperature was 23° and it was cold, but without air condition it was very hot, so the result is that we all are ill now!!! The room services were good. The meal was good, but not very various and you can do better, because every day we saw the same things. The pizza is very good, croissants too. The fish that we ate Monday, wasn't good and we left it after tasting it! The service was good in general, but the best waiter for us was Ilhan, the boy that works in the first sala, outside. Very good cocktails at the reception. The beach was very clean and we enjoyed it. The pool was good too. Rixy club was good, but very cold for the kids, too much air condition. The same is for kids Aquapark, because the water was very cold. Good services for the tennis fields and we loved very much all green areas of your resort. It was an amazing holiday! Thank you!

Well, i am gonna write a fully detailed review on the TripAdvisor web site. It was a nice vacation as i wrote in the title box. Frankly speaking, it is very hard to write some negative things which should be reflected in any case and in any review about this hotel. I am a regular guest having completed my 11th consecutive summer vacation. Food was of high quality, my room was more than satisfactory and the staff were excellent. However, on the animation (not the team individual by individual but the general organizational issues and management) side there were some shortcomings as far as the overall job performance issues are concerned. There was also NONE beach parties like the ones i totally enjoyed in recent years. I acknowledge the fact that the concept of the hotel is family oriented. Nevertheless that should not forbid the hotel management to throw some beach and/or beach parties (at least one in two weeks -bi weekly) for the adults too. In my opinion the non-existence of those kind of parties is a BIG minus for the overall reputation of the hotel. The same applies to the shows at the Lotus Bar also. I think the quality of those shows (teams) should be improved too ! For instance i don't want to see that so-called Anadolu Ateşi show. It is so dépassé! It is a very old show. I absolutely don't want to see it again, if I visit your hotel next year too which could mark my consecutive 12th summer vacation there. The same goes for that so-called extreme whatever show ! Because of that bayatness of those, I visited the Lotus Bar (which I live so much) very rarely during my stay in your hotel. Please bring brand new and original and nice concert shows to your hotel. I paid a lot of money but i couldn't get the total bang for my buck in terms of night entertainment value ! Renew yourself, bring new teams for shows. And please remove the Café de Paris show totally out of your entertainment programs. They were so LOW quality. By the way, i would like to thank for the very kind gesture on my last night at the karaoke show. That's it ! I am gonna write my review in full-contact details about that "entertainment" so as to have a full impact on your entertainment shows for next summer. Kind regards, Yavuz
