bathroom was old and needs to be renovated, I booked sea view but was not totally sea view. You have two receptions and i guess one is enough as we checked -in at a reception and check-out at another.

There were good experiences but bad ones as well. It started when we arrived and noticed the airconditioning wasn't working in the lobby. It was extremely hot and uncomfortable. Then the rooms were not ready and we were invited to go eat and come back. When we came back, only two rooms were ready. When our room was ready. When we went to our room, the enterance to our room smelt very gross. We noticed the reighboring room floor had just been washed and the door was open to air it out. It smelt like someone had had and accident and threw up. Then we discovered our room was very small, a basement level and you could see people walk in front of the window. It didn't provide any privacy. We didn't find it equivelant to the value of what spent on four rooms. We were told there is nothing else available until tomorrow. We had no choice but to upgrade and pay additional money to move into somewhat decent rooms. The floors in the bathrooms looked old and finishes are not so clean. Then later we discovered the Internet connection was horrible in our room as well as around the resort. To get a good signal, we had to sit in the lobby. I had to do urgent business related online work on my laptop one late evening and it took three hours to finish while it should have taken one hour. I started at 1 am and finished at 4 am. It was because of the slow internet and bad connection. The second time I needed to do urgent online work again, I had no choice but to go to the lobby late in the morning which was very inconvenient. I also called the 2001 Operation Center line to ask why the airconditioning was so bad everywhere in the hotel but the person hung up the phone. I didn't bother calling back. I called a second time a couple of days later to ask why the Internet wasn't working in our room, I was transfered to Guest Relations. It rang and rang then someone picked up the phone and the hung up without answering. I went downstairs and asked to speak to management. They suggested I speak to Guest Relations. I gave the Guest Relations person all of the above feedback.

You should improve a lot your services. You can't have a resort with UAI and to pay for playground (all the machines for kids)...to pay for all that means entertaiment, to pay for a better table at the disco and so on. Waiters don't come to you if you don't give them money, etc.

The hotel was very loud and noisy, you had the music from the main pool which was way to loud and also the music from the gym classes... you couldn’t here yourself think. Found it difficult to relax in the daytime, also the entertainment in the evening, there wasn’t anywhere near enough seats for eveyone... a lot of VIP areas which would remain empty while people stood with children and family’s The music that the Djs were playing in the day time was very inappropriate as lots of family’s staying here and there was a lot of swearing and inappropriate sentences being played “Get inside my wet Pussy” was one they liked to play a lot The alcholholic drinks very disappointing, we tried all the cocktails and they we all terrible, not what you would expect from a 5 star hotel The lack of air conditioning was very difficult to cope with, the restaurants were redicilous hot and I nearly passed out a few times Also the restaurant on top floor was like a cattle market, no where near enough staff clearing tables and offering drinks and the very time we did get offered drinks they always came back wrong due to the lack of English any of the staff spoke, no one ever said good morning or good evening or even smiled so felt very impersonal I have never been to a 5 star Or even 4 star and not offered tea or coffee at the table in the morning, 14 days we was there for and not once was we offered this The fact we had to pay for the restaurants in the evenings al a carte wasn’t ideal considering how much we paid for the holiday Also the price in water sports was ridiculous and the fact that most fun things the kids wanted to do we had to pay a rediculous amount for I paid a lot of money in the spa for treatments and both times I was put into a room where all I could hear was banging music from the pool area, which was totally un except-able

The food is good, the beaches and the pools are ok, servis in gastronomy is good. Rooms servis is no’t good. If I didn’t tell the cleaners they wouldn’t clean the room. Always operators leave less towels than people are in room. For example in the room we were three people and they left 2 small and 1 large towels and other shortcomings for the cleaning face. Minibar is ok.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Was a great deal to do at the resort, so everyone within my family was happy. There were many pools which we could sit by. Sometimes I found the music around the main pool was far too loud. We recognised that the resort is trying to appeal to young singles but we got a bit over the doof doof after a while. Thankfully there was the Fantasty Bar pool which offered a more relaxing atmosphere. My kids loved this area also, and staff were very helpful in this area. The sun beds were very comfortable, we hoped they were set up earlier in the morning as we went out there early each morning and they wouldn’t get set up til after 9am. The grass around the pool was getting very wet and soggy by the end of our stay. We noticed that extra grass was being placed but not so effective. Slightly extra travertine paving around the pool would help make this space more enjoyable, as getting muddy feet isn’t ideal. We loved the fitness activities each day. The trips to Land of Legends were fantastic. My kids also thoroughly enjoyed the water slides. Highlight was the ale-cart restaurants, as there was so much choice. The lunchtime restaurant by the beach was our favourite, mainly for it’s ambiance by the beach. The food was fresh and mostly enjoyable but it would benefit from a bit more diversity with it’s selections. Would of been nice to have a few different salads on offer. Most people we met were absolutely lovely. We only had two situations with some rude pushy Russians trying to make demands, on the bus ride to Land of legends and taking deck chairs we had placed our towels on. We didn’t let it spoil our stay but it was annoying to say the least. We noticed there were quiet a English people but there was a focus on Russian entertainment, english nighttime entertainment was lacking and more options would of been nice.

Dear Sir/Madam, Quite frankly, I wouldn’t have answered this customer questionairre if you did not send me dozens of emails; but as you did, here’s my comments: The hotel was so far away from well known Rixos class; it was more of a ‘Russian trap’ as we call here in Turkey. As the acres that Sungate built on, I don’t think it is a very good idea to squeeze everybody in 1 bar in evenings; most of the time we couldn’t have found a table. And we are not all fans of crap Euro House music, you know? The shower was another problem; not only the fact that ours’ hanger was broken but the hot water was hardly there. We were at the top floor at the main building, so obviously the pumper was not efficient enough, then again it is not my problem. Most of the time the aircon in restaurants were off, it was like dining in hell really. Your staff was professional, caring and friendly; but even they cannot convince me to believe that Sungate was a good pick. Consequently, I really feel like my money went dıwn the drain, and no force whatsoever can make me to go back. Yours sincerely, Fatih A.

Some nice elements to the hotel- but let down badly by some major problems that make it not a 5 star hotel (far from a 5 star). Any issues not addressed by staff or guest services. Also judging by reviews on trip advisor some issues are obviously a problem as they’re mentioned several times so it’s not just an isolated issue or one person experiencing it. So nothing has been done to rectify or address them. Main issues being: 1. Bad air conditioning. Yes it is a problem! Reception were most unhelpful and dismissive. Reception staff need to be more polite and courteous. And address any issues. 2. A lot of staff do not know basic English. A few were ok and could communicate, but a lot of them couldn’t understand basic words 3. Some waiters were helpful but a lot weren’t. Also this is the first time in any hotel that we were left to find our own table at meal times. This makes it difficult (especially as we were 8 plus a toddler) and chaotic. Some guests of 3 were sitting on tables for 8. Not good use of tables. 4. Rooms not clean enough. Housekeeping were good at coming though, and coming again later if we were still in room. Bathroom not clean enough. Dated decor also. Bathroom looks horrible and not 5 star. Bed was awful, the worst I’ve ever stayed on. Very very hard. We’ve all come back home shattered. Tired. Not the idea of holiday. 5. Meal times chaotic. Other guests sometimes push infront of you in queue. Not enough staff (management) to control the masses of guests. Meal times at Dinner are a “free for all”. Veranda did NOT stay open till 9.30pm. We were told it closes at 9pm. Very strange! Mentioned it to to guest services along with AC problem. She was surprised. But look at trip advisor- not first time this has happened. 6. Poor management. One lady very upset in reception due to her son having a very bad accident on water slide the previous day. She asked for a manager and was left waiting for more than half an hour with no one. Regardless of the circumstances of the accident no guest should have to repeatedly ask for a manager and be left waiting like that. All the other staff just stared. Like it was a show. Disgusting management of the situation by the hotel

Room was bigger then we expected, cleaning is excellent, but lacked of simple things like paper tissues, tea set and mosquito repellent - had to ask for it on guest service. Hotel territory is clean and well-planned, the most beautiful sea and landscapes that I've ever seen, but too noisy in the evening. In general we're happy with our vacation in Your hotel, will recommend it to our friends.

Travelled as a family of 13 with 4 children. Everyone had lots to do, the pools and Rixi Club were well attended and we enjoyed the beach are down towards the football pitches. The staff in general were excellent especially when the Russian guests thought they didn’t need to join a queue!! Only complaint was the chaos in the dining rooms at meal times and lack of decent air conditioning in them. The food was excellent and the 3 a la Carte restaurants superb. Entertainment fab and the cleanliness of the hotel could not be faulted. If the main dining experience was improved the hotel would get 10/10.

Dear all This was our third time in your hotel. Food and drinks in all inclusive concept are the best from all hotels that we visited in Turkey. We were very happy especially when we heard about free tour in The Land of Legends.This is very kind for all Rixos guests and I hope that we will visit again some of Rixos hotels next year. Very poor accommodation ! NOT 5 stars! My 1st and 2nd room was like 3 stars! Very disappointed (no full body mirror, no carpet, cold floor, no banquette or even armchair or small couch). Horrible guest service, only one girl from all personal was helpful and kind. Always big queues to them. But may be TOO many things they in charge, reception should take some problem solving instead of them (lost and found for example). Lost my beach slippers - they didn't found. Also, had big problem with transfer back from The Land of Legend (no seats for us, forced to get taxi and afterwords had long hard conversations with hotel management to solve this and to take my money back for this transfer).
