Hotel good location for moeslem. Mosque can reach by walk to yu palace. And around hotel have halal food. Cross the street have hypermart. Walk,maybe, about 200 - 300 meters to Yu Garden Station Line 10.

« Not up to standard »

From the inflexibility of the check in staff to the partially cleaed rooms daily this place is not up to the standard I expect when I"m travelling. I"m an accor member for a reason and I would like to be able to trust that my accommodation is sorted and a little bit of extra care and attention is applied. Also why is the complimentary drink have to be a coffee, tea or soft drink? I want a cold beer at the end of the day. That's not a deal breaker but the service at this hotel is very poor. The rooms are never cleaned properly and they had 5 rooms booked for me when all I booked was 4. But because it was in their booking system they could not and would not change it. Made me very angry after a long flight and all I wanted was my room a feed and to go to sleep. Don't know how much longer I"ll be an ACCOR member.

« Well designed hotel with slight lack of dining experience »

The stay was very good for the price that I paid. Hotel room was not big but well designed that makes me feel comfortable. Smart design of every detail was the reason. Breakfast experience was good enough for me, but I don't think this is the standard offered by other Mercure Hotels in other places. Wine cellar in hotel lobby was supposed to offer a free first glass of wine but the app did not work.

Hotel Rooms and Breakfast are very Good. Staff Very friendly and Co-operative. Only problem I faced was with the English understanding of the Staff..There English is very poor which needs to be improved for foreign travels. The Sales Manager Mr William is Extremely good and cooperative. His English is also very Good. Highly Cooperative person. He is an Asset to your Property. You need o have to travel desk for site seeing and taxis support as the taxis driver doesn't understand english. Rooms and services were of high standard. everything new.

Breakfast serving area is too cramp. This have resulted in long queue at the counters such as the coffee dispensing machine, noodles and end sections. The queue also block others from accessing other foods next to or adjacent to the queue.

There was no recognition as a Gold member at the time of checking in. Nothing was offered. Moreover the room was no window room. It was the poorest service I have ever encountered at Accor Hotels group.

The experience was pretty bad. Incompetent intern took 20 minutes to check me in at 2am. I was given a room with window facing garden..barely a window. Most staff don’t speak english. On a good note the laundry services were fast and good

« Hotel charges flutuates. No privacy in room. »

Booked with Accor hotel but found out from the tv screen at the receiption, it can sometimes be cheaper. In terms of room, we booked a twin room with a large living space but there is no doors between the living space and the bed space and the bathroom. So it is inconvenient if someone is getting changed in the bathroom area and another person walks to make a cup of tea. There is space for only one suitcase so we had to put the other three all on the floor though the room itself is not small.

« Shockingly poor! »

Very poor for any 4 star hotel and shocking poor for an Accor hotel! When I arrived, the concierge saw me struggle in with 3 heavy suitcases but went straight back to his phone. I had to ask him to help me with the suitcases to my room. For an international hotel, very little English was spoken. Little effort was made by most on Reception to even try to understand what I was saying. Though one or two on the front desk were friendly, some were actually very rude - no smile, no welcome, on their phones far too much to look even interested, couldn't even be bothered to check if my business parcel had arrived (which it had, though I didn't find out till the following day from a differnt receptionist!), forgot to order my taxi, etc. My room had beeen upgraded - the room was spacious and clean,and the ladies cleaning the room were very nice, despite the language barrier, but this was the only positive! The food at breakfast was very poor - the choice was limited, dishes were labelled incorrectly and weren't topped up even when they ran out, hot food was stone cold, chefs wearing outdoor hats whilst cooking, not even any tea despite my asking. The minibar was very poor too - 4 drinks only. No room service either - not helpful if you are working late and on your own. When I went to dinner there on my first evening, I was the only one in the restaurant,over half the dishes on the menu were not available, and what I was served was almost cold. (I didn't eat there again!) We asked for a late check-out on the last day, yet both my colleague and I had to go to Reception several times each to get them to update out key. When we checked out, I had to insist on a receipt - and when they charged me different rates to what I'd booked it for, they said it was different rates per night! At that stage, I asked to see the manager - a very nice man who agreed that the service was poor as they were shortstaffed. This doesn't excuse rudeness, though - and is certainly not what I'd expect from Accor hotels. I will not be returning there again - it was by far the worst Accor hotel I've ever stayed in!

« My door key did not work so I have to reset every day »

The check in process was very very long. They copied our passports very slow They almost gave me the wrong room type from my booking. Their english was very poor so I faced difficulty to convey my point. Every time I came back to the hotel, the door card did not work so I have to come to reception desk and had they reset it. (It happened every day)

« Below expectations »

Bad experience 20 min To be attended at reception, despite being on the member lane fast checkin because no priority was granted on the priority lane. No welcoming drink Told me that breakfast was not included Air cond broken in my room Book a taxi for the day after, but finally they forgot it, thus I arrived late on my meeting. Nobody talks properly English. I think it is unadapted for such city in such international hotel brand.

« room ok but service need to be improved »

staying 1 full week at this hotel, I couldn't expect more than being in downtown. so the location is quite convenient. While having room check-in on the first day, they seemed to not have any idea of what is a Gold card member in Accor, they were even asking us to buy Huazhu memeber card with many more advantages than if being a Gold card member from Accor. The rooms were ok but the reception had to move us to another room as there was no water anymore. Any way we moved.

« A good experience »

I was very happy with the room, especially the smart lighting (with all lights controlled from the bedside), the smart TV, wifi, and Japanese style toilet (a first for me). Some of the downsides were the lack of English language skills from the staff, the lack of a bar, welcome drink, and the limited hours of the restaurant (we finally made breakfast once, but lunch/dinner hours didn't work). The breakfast was very good, and it caters well for both locals and foreigners.

It was a great experience. I found Mecure this month and have stayed at three different Mercure. It’s very valuable and worth it. The only I found disturbing was that I found hair on the sheets and pillowcases. I do find Thai very common but I believe the hotel will be better if housekeepers are more careful with hair in the room.

« A modern oasis »

Check in went really well (the lady checking me in was in training and did great). Loved the toilet. Had a hard time finding the hotel as it is not properly listed on google maps or apple maps and it is a bit of a walk from nearest metro. But I had a great sleep and enjoyed the ability to relax in a familiar setting with Accor and Mercure.
