The hotel is in a good and safe location and near to a number of good restaurants. Breakfast was also good. However, the room furniture was a bit dated and no drinking water is provided. The TV did not seem to have any English speakig channel news.

Our experience was very good, we stayed in bedroom 809, what was very big, with a very comfortable bed and very relaxing shower. The attendants were always ready to answer to us for any question and doubt, what made us feel secure, since I was travelling alone with my teenage daughter. And breakfast is also very good with a great varied of food, fruits, attending perfectly someone who does not eat gluten. The only points, I believe it could be even better, it was the cleanliness of the bathroom and the room, what I think were not cleaned during our two-night stay. The parking lot was paid apart, which despite being reasonable price for São Paulo, it was still a surprise. And in the restaurant menu, we could not find anything vegetarian style with a reasonable price for two, what made us find an excellent restaurant just on the next block called Jequitaia. So that means the hotel location is perfect. And I would greatly recommend it.

Room 106 I made the mistake to book through Expedia.ca and I was of course put in a low floor room, no view, with dirty walls, no wash clothes, the inside of the shower with so much mold... I guess that Expedia customers don't deserve to be treated better as we paid a "lower" price that is, of course, set up by the hotel itself... I was on a business trip and I need internet. Well, for the entire stay I could not connect with the regular system as your system had an issue and did not recognize me as a check in guest. When I called the front desk I was explained what to do. I did. But apparently I was not smart enough so they had to send someone to do exactly what I already did. Of course he ended up calling the front desk to repeat what I said and he was given another username and password. Regarding supplies, this is the first time ever that I was given napkins instead of tissues. There was no tissue available in the entire hotel and it does not seem to be part of the inventory. I had a bloody nose and napkins are not really made for that... Unbelievable. The night before I left I tried to call the front desk but no answer. After trying for 30 minute I went downstairs myself and found the agent at his desk. Not sure if he did not want to pick up the phone or if there is an issue with the phone itself. Anyway, I requested an iron and the table to get y shirt ready as there was none in the huge empty room. Of course, none was available as they have a very limited number for the entire hotel. The agent asked me what time I would be leaving and I informed him that I had an 8am meeting. He said there was nothing he could do. I suggested myself that if ever he would find one overnight he could just leave it outside my door...and not delivering it in my room and wake me up as he told me. I also booked my trip as a single guest on a business trip. I was put in adjoining room and a family with a baby was next door. I could hear everything even when the baby did not cry. Not the best choice to make for the person who assigns rooms. Maybe he/she should be showed what to look for when giving out the rooms. The breakfast was good enough. Just disappointed with the quality of the coffee. In Brazil I think we can expect better. I was also entitled to a free drink through Expedia that I never received. When I mentioned at different time I did not like the room and the issues I had I never received an apology or any empathy which is the basic in the customer industry especially in a hotel. Having worked myself as guest services manager, I can appreciate a good from a bad service. There is a lot of room for improvement but mostly, if you want the staff to be happy and show a great service to your guests, you first need to provide them everything they need to feel comfortable they will be able to answer to all requests. Anyway, I'll probably won't return to this property for my next trip.

« Great Staff, Awesome breakfast and beautiful decoration! »

I'm giving 7, because the staff are awesome, treat me as a special guest, Is very beautiful decoration, the breakfast was great. The reason to not give it 10 stars is that the room it was renovated, but the closet is very old and smells bad, no Heater in the room and it was freaking cold in Sao Paulo.

Undoubtedly excellent service! The room is very nice, well maintained, clean, organized. The bedding is good, no weird smell. The bathroom is large with one of the mirrored walls, comfortable, well cleaned. Two excellent showers, good bathtub. Very rich and diverse breakfast. The location is perfect, it is on the opposite side of Av. Paulista, next to the fiesp building. It has many bars nearby, not so far from main points of the city, such as the masp, ibirapuera, congonhas airport, etc. The wardrobe, on the other hand, has a strange smell, apparently musty. The television had some channels that were with bad signal, I tried to move the wiring and it was no use. The bathroom is very nice, but as it has no windows the blurry mirror for a long time. Tip: I suggest reviewing the availability of television channels, such as children's programs and movies. Cleaning under the bed! Finally, renew the bath towels.

Good sized room and bathroom, but the hotel is totally outdated, with old and stained furniture. Good breakfast, but the tables weren’t clean. Staff was attentive.

I am silver status and me tioned it, but they did not give me welcome drink. Also they have not give me the status points for this stay so far. Please let me know why it happened.

« Renovations »

The Hotel needs renovations! The property has a great location, but the furniture in the room are shabby. The Breakfast is not good, with few options and the options offered are tasteless. The coffee is very strong and it seems the restaurant staff doesn't know how to prepare a tasty coffee!! The hotel did not meet my expectations, except the location and the spacious room.

« Most Unorganized Hotel and Hotel Company ever! »

I booked a room and then needed to cancel it so i sent an email cancelling the room but it was an hour after the free cancellation time. So then I called and was on the phone for 45 minutes and they could not find my reservation. I even gave them my confirmation number, name acct numbest etc. I went through 2 different agents and neither one could find my reservation. So I decided I better just stay at the hotel instead of a friends house. Glad that I did because the room was not cancelled. No one left a record about me calling 2 times and nothing about me cancelling electronically online . The hotel is not bad but the company needs a ton of guest service training. How can this happen? In my 30 years of travel this has never happened to me. Good luck guys. Get it together. My room should have been free. And BTW the WIFI was out and I called the desk 4 times after 11pm and no answer. I let it ring 10 to 15 times each call. No apology i the morning..no how can we help make this better. Please avoid this hotel chain.

When we arrived there was no receptionist at the reception The bell boy did our registration I asked about my regular up grade as a gold member and he told me that I was silver only after I show him my status on the phone he apologized and told me that the hotel system was not updated?!?!?!?? Than he gave us an executive room that was never refurbished since they open that hotel 35 years ago furniture falling a part flor with broken planks and the tv not working Since I was staying two nights and the bell boy told us that he would assign us the best executive room I decided to complain at the time of my checkout and I did so to the receptionist that told me why didn’t I complained and I asked if they don’t have a revision at the rooms before sending the customers and he limited his answer to o will let know the management Now I have a paid booking with no cancellation for March 31st and if they send me back to the nightmare room o will request my payment back

« Decent hotel, room was below expectation. »

Overall a decent hotel, but the rooms interior was not well designed. Also it was outdated, especially for a suite. The breakfast was ok, and the roomservice was better. Location is great near the biyant heart of Sao Paulo.Management disappointment is coming from the hotel policy to withdraw the money directly from your creditcard instead of the usual reservation that Accor usually does (and 1 payment for all at checkout). It creates multiple bookings and extra work (especially with foreign exchange).

Average quality hotel for the cost. The prices should be lower or the hotel should be refurnished to justify the price and category. The breakfast should be better too. Good location, near Av. Paulista, Rua Augusta, museum (MASP) and metro station.

That's the second time me and my girlfriend stay on Belas Artes Hotel and, after our first experience we decided to repeat it always when we need to go to São Paulo, as it happened this month. The service, the bar, the restaurant services, the cleaning, the fantastic breakfast they serve, all those stuff made us want to repeat our experience.
