Room was clean, but quite cosy for four! Pool area looked unfinished and there weren't many sun beds. Hotel seemed short staffed. Breakfast was chaotic! Tables needed clearing and most of the food run out so we had to wait for it to be replenished.

Everything was fine, the bed for the parents and for the two children were good and the room was pretty and correctly prepared. The only issue was the air conditioning was placed just beside the bed of my child and then impossible to use it

« Great location, lovely hotel, great staff!!! »

Really clean, comfortable room, staff were extremely attentive and friendly. The location of the hotel in perfect, about 10 mins walk to the old town centre which is very pretty and has lots of restaurants and bars. The breakfast in the morning was great and it was all reasonably priced and the kids got breakfast for free. Was only staying Blois as a stop over on the way back to Calais but would definite like to visit there again and would without a doubt stay that this hotel.

Once the problem with the air conditioning in our room was fixed, the stay was very pleasant. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed extremely comfortable.

« Hotel was fine, staff was not great, some basic amenities were missing—overall the hotel was way too expensive for what we got. »

Two of the staff members were rude and unhelpful. We were in town for a wedding but our room had no iron, and when we asked for an iron at the front desk they were completely unhelpful. What kind of hotel costs $140 a night but refuses to provide an iron? I was very frustrated and we had to attend the wedding in wrinkly clothes. The towels smelled like vinegar, which was disgusting. The pool was broken and they didn’t offer any discount to account for this. And the quality of food at the hotel restaurant was just okay. Overall, the hotel was WAY too expensive compared to the experience. I would not stay here again.

« The pool wasn't in service but no-one told us »

The hotel was good however the only reason I stayed there for the night as opposed to one on the many cheaper hotels in the area was because it had a pool and we wanted one day for the children to play in a pool. I was extremely disappointed to be told on arrival,not only that it was out of service but that it had been for over a week. You should have told me earlier and given us the opportunity to go somewhere else with a pool.

« Excellent hotel for a stop in Blois »

The reception staff were excellent, very friendly and and we were booked in a a very short time. The room was also excellent. very comfortable bed, good showere etc etc and a good size. But breakfast was the star. The staff were very friendly and efficient allways topping up things that were running low. The food was good, good choice and quality food. Whilst the hotel is on a hill behind the main town, it was easy to walk into town or even take a bus back. Excellent position, plenty of room in the car park. A really excellent stay.

Booked 2 rooms - 1 room not ready on arrival and unable to access until approx.. 16:30. Additional bed within room for 3 persons not very comfortable - joint/ridge down mattress? Surprised to be asked to pay 8 euros for car parking - Never been asked for this during previous stays.

Overall nice stay. The hotel was recently updated so the rooms were nice. Housekeeping did a great job. Biggest complaint is that parking is available but is not included. I chose this hotel because of parking only to find out that as of July 1 there was a charge (still not shown on web site). A few of the front desk reps may have been new thus getting inconsistent information about parking, local bus to the Cchateau and restaurant hours. Our questions were answered but only for the specific day (we should have been advised that services were not available on other days).

We stayed 2 nights in a very hot France (40 degrees) Staff were good but the hotel facilities were not complete - the advertised pool was by no means ready and it would have been very welcome in that heat. Breakfast was good apart from running out of baguettes by 8.15 on Monday - in France?? Staff very good and room fine . Location a bit far out of town. Would I stay again? probably not I woul go for the Mercure in town.

Initially there was a problem with our room but the staff moved us to another without any fuss. There were some building works but these didn't cause too much nuisance. Room was very well planned and laid out and worked extremely well. Car parking was a bit chaotic and house keeping not consistent but overall good.
