Decent stay

The hotel was fairly clean & well kept, although I would describe this as unpleasant at times. Having to walk to a separate building and give your hotel key to use the pool and gym is not ideal. The smell in the building of the gym & pool was very unpleasant. I feel the advertisement of the amenities is very misleading, they were less pleasant than a public pool & gym. The quality of the amenities (soap etc) for the level of hotel was below average. Front service desk had great service and were friendly & approachable. They did a great job with service & contacting me when the room was ready also.

Great location, comfortable stay

Great location, walking distance to bars and restaurants. Close to the airport less than 30 min drive. Room was comfortable, nice bathroom, very friendly staff, lovely breaky buffet. No dining, however, not necessary as plenty of places to go close by or get delivery. Only critiques would be on very busy main road including busy bike lane, not ideal place for cab/uber to stop to let you out; coffee could have been stronger/hotter. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

Loved our stay, roof top pool was a highlight for the kids-especially at night. Buffet brekkie got the kids out if bed each morning. Tram stop out the front meant district docklands was only a couple stops away and getting to museum or vic market was super easy. The ferry dropped us right at the door (from Geelong) and the station was located around the corner to train it back home. Staff were always smiling and answered any questions, we just loved our stay and will be back!

Beautiful and comfortable King Size Room

It was our first time staying in Docklands and found the location quite different to what we'd expected. My husband and I are walkers, so proximity to what we wanted to see was not an issue and there is a tram stop right outside the hotel as well, but we found the area and the hotel itself had no soul. Docklands seems devoid of people and atmosphere and although the hotel staff were helpful, the hotel did not provide an atmosphere which was welcoming to return to after a long day of sight-seeing. Our room was beautiful, clean and spacious however the construction noise meant we had to use ear plugs to get some relief from the workers' early starts which were always before 7:00am.
