I couldn't recommend the hotel or their staff more! Novotel Medellin truly exceeded my expectations. Even the staff for the mall outside the lobby were so accommodating. My mom was born in Medellin, but came to the US at 4 or 5 so Spanish is her first language, but she is completely fluent in English. However my first language is English and Spanish my second. It is a little nerve racking, but my nerves were instantly calmed when the staff spoke to me and my husband in English as well. That alone sold me on my 10/10 experience, but the room? I couldn't have asked for a better room. We were on the 18th floor. I specifically requested a high floor room and they delivered on that as well! The views were amazing, house keeping always brought clean towels per my request. Being that the entrance to the mall is literally attached to the PP Floor was SO convenient as well. The structure of the building was secure and the architecture was very thought through. If I did have to make any kind of recommendation is the room service. It was a little confusing and the options for food are very limited. I wanted a late night bite of pizza and they didn't have your basic pepperoni, but that didn't change my views on this amazing hotel whatsoever. Just more so a side note. I love Medellin with my whole heart and I can't think of staying anywhere else but the Novotel. I would feel bad if I stayed anywhere else but Novotel now knowing how amazing this staff and facility is. Thank you so much for making my husband's 30th birthday celebration the best ever! You guys completely exceeded my expectations and I can not wait to come back again! Thank you, thank you, thank YOU!!!!

beautiful hotel, clean and comfortable, right next to the shopping mall with nice restaurants and places to eat. but they do not allow guests at all to come to hotel room ; asking for $$$ a large payment to bring back a girl to my room. also i missed breakfast and asked if i could just grab some juice before i went for an appointment and they refused.

It was a very pleasant stay - the hotel is very conveniently located as part of the Tesoro Mall, which makes it ideal for shopping, dining and even medical appointments. A few areas that could use improvement: - smart TV (currently not available) - pillow top mattress (a bit too firm and almost uncomfortable) - magnifying mirror in the bathroom for the older ones among us that need to take off their glasses to put on their make-up Other than that - excellent!
