« Disappointing stay »

1. Loud piping music at the walkway to room. I could hear every single lyric while staying in the room. Had to ask the reception to tone down the volume. Soft music is a better option than loud pop music. 2.Was given Room 102 located at the ground level, the same level as the reception. Room is facing the glass door that separates between reception & rooms. Loud noises at the reception were amplified via the walkway that the room is facing. 3. Breakfast selection - rather poor selection coming from a Novotel Hotel chain. It's almost the same standard as a boutique hotel which at times, can be even better quality. 4. TV channel selection - channels mostly in Thai language with the exception of few news channels in English. What's the point of having a huge tv but can't enjoy movies at the comfort of your room? Might as well bring your own media entertainment.

It's such a great experience to stay there, good facilities and good location. But I have a bit disappointed the first i received email from hotel that they will give me welcome drink voucher as gold member accor even I'm silver member but finally i got only welcome drink voucher for silver member. The second is I gave the room upgrade voucher to reception and told her i want to use it and she said she will upgrade my room to superior room with balcony but finally is nothing.

« Everything was good except poor sound- proofing »

There was a event in the hotel and when the people check in, the whole lobby was over crowded and noisy. The sound proofing of the room was poor that i could hear footsteps, people talking along the corridor and from the room beside. Was woken up in the morning by the talking of people next door and by sound of hair drier. Everything else was perfect. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Thank you.

« Nice hotel with a good location »

There was no welcome drink for Accor members which I find quite unusual compared to past experience but that’s a small matter. The location is good as it is near a shopping mall and the trendy Nimman area. The facilities are ample - gym & pool. Staff could be more welcoming with greetings in the reception hall though.

« Excellent Stay at Novotel »

I stayed at Novotel Chiangmai Nimman Journeyhub between 29-30 Oct 2019. The room was very comfortable. The overall hotel condition is very new with excellent service from staff. Breakfast was offered with a wide variety of food, including live egg station. I had Laab Moo for lunch which was very delicious. The mocktail at the atrium bar was good with pleasant view and unique decoration of the atrium.

Our so called "deluxe room - garden" had no garden to speak of and in fact we looked at a corrugated iron wall! We moved to level 4 and the new view was of a dusty car park and an adjoining hotel. Also on a very noisy flight path so we had planes taking off above us from early morning until late at night. Food was disappointing - very much catering to Asian palates (breakfast). Would not recommend to anyone. Only redeeming feature were the staff who were very pleasant and helpful. Very disappointed that the wording on the description of the room does not in any way reflect the actual experience.

« Nice newly built Hotel, located near shopping street. »

Since it is a newly built hotel, all facilities are pretty clean and tidy. Staff are nice an attentive. Hotel located next to Nimmanhemin street which is more or less a shopping destination in Chiang May. I personally like the design of a hotel. Hotel design utilizing limited space smartly. It give you a feel of relaxing and comfort, especially in the main dining area of the hotel.

Stayed here in a fourth time after opening once we visited Chiang Mai as usual, but just known that a guest who has got "Silver member" could have allowed to get late check out at 2 PM as a latest even though we had asked a special request to be 4 PM (we came really late check in around 9.00 PM on the previous day). I would have thought all the time that this is depending on the available room at that time which I did not see the hotel had the fully booking from a number of guest. Quite a bit disappointed of answering of the staff.
