The service was exceptional, and the room was very comfortable. I thought the position was excellent. The plane noise was a bit annoying but nothing you can do about that!! I thought that some shade could have been provided at the pool. Perhaps a shade sail or umbrellas as I couldn't sit at the pool at all as it was too hot. The gym facilities were excellent.

Good points first: - staff - excellent, very helpful and accommodating - rooms good, well-equipped, good bed - nice atmosphere, particularly at the restaurant/bar in the atrium Bad points: - poorly designed for sound insulation - too many hard surfaces, we could hear adjoining rooms using their bathroom and crockery (when eating) and talking. Corridor noise was very bad particularly when children running up and down. - when booking, balcony was sold as a benefit at extra cost. In fact it is very small, unusable, looks out over a muddy construction site, has no chairs even if you could fit out there, and reduces the size of the room internally. It should be a cheaper room. - lack of western food at breakfast, only 2 types of fruit, quality was poor - difficult location to find originally, as only new and most taxis didn't know where it was. - built under flight path and when in bar area, can't hear when planes go by (which is often), suggest a glass, insulated roof over atrium.

Although it is a new hotel, but, some things are not fine enough, like room cleanliness. The junior suite room design is not friendly, TV is at the side of the bed, do not know how to watch the programmes. Suggest to have one more TV at the hall.

« Unruly behaviour of guests spoilt our enjoyment »

The behaviour of some of your guests did spoilt our stay at your property. This was specially so during morning breakfast. On all the three occasions we were there, these group of guests were rather loud and no consideration for the comfort of other guests. They were talking at the top of their voices and just let their children run around in the restaurant. My friend did politely one of the woman guests to tone down which was not received well as her male companion strongly rebuked his gesture. I did approach your front desk to let them know about this issue and did suggest them to have signs put up around the property. The signs in three three main languages (Thai, English and Mandarin) reminding guests to be considerate to their fellow guests by not talking too loud and restrain their children from running around in the common areas. Hope the property management will look into my suggestion as this also affect the well being of their employees having to service this kind of guests daily.

« I had high hopes for that. »

1.Receptionists wasn’t s expresses warm welcome enough if I compared with the other Hotel in Accors. No smiles!! Gosh!! Even I am AccorPlus as well. 2.TV Channel : Such a very poor TV channel I’ve ever seen in my life!!! Probably, you can check the standard channels of the Bangkok Ibis Styles. Fix it urgently please. 3.Breakfast : No persons welcome you in front of a restuarant and there was no protection of raining. I had to run to there among the rain. Dirty Butter served, bad taste of bread and fruits. Just only on meal for me! 4.Room dec. : Overall was okay but the balcony was very dirty with dust everyday. 5.Room service and Laundry were very nice.

I have been staying at accor group hotels of different regions before and it is the worst experience. I stayed there for 4 nights. The area around was very noisy in the evening until midnight. House keeping service was not up to standard at all - no refill for vanity kit and soap for 2 nights. Towel had numerous stain on it. I called front desk to refill vanity kit but she didn't even know what is "vanity kit"!! I tried to talk to the house keeping manager and left message at the front desk on 3rd day. Unfortunately she seemed to be so busy and not able to talk before I checked out....

Satisfied. As expected. The hotel is new so I take the freedom to send you few remarks / advices for improvement. 1. Don't disturb sign is green. I think it should be red. Like with traffic light you don't engage when it is red but you do when green. Consequently when I left my room I saw green and when I came back at 7 pm my room was not clean. Perhaps you could consider changing the color. This is also due to the fact the switches are all together and it is very easy to push on the wrong one as I did. 2. Also master switch to light on and off every thing should be at the entrance. Irritant to have go close to the bed to light on everything.

« A pleasant stay! »

The room was clean and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable and the TV was a generous size. However, having a balcony attached to the room with no real view seemed a waste of space to me. We were overall pleased with our stay at the hotel. However, providing a shuttle drop off at Maya Shopping Mall would be nice versus walking or taking a Grab there. I was a little disappointed with the airport transfer though. I realised I had left a personal item back at the hotel room a few minutes after we had left the hotel and when I phoned the hotel to report it , I was told that I had to pay for a return journey to retrieve it. The hotel is less than 10 minutes away from the airport and they could easily have sent someone to the airport to return it to me but instead I had no choice in the matter except to pay the driver the additional charge. I was already upset not having my personal item with me. They could have easily been gracious about it as part of their service but instead it became a business transaction for them. The incident could have definitely been better managed as much as I was relieved to get my personal item back!

Appreciate the kindness that all the staff of Novotel showed during my stay. Particularly, Ms. Jelly who helped out the check-in process and other requirements (including room upgrade). Also my sincere thanks to Mr. Pon, Ms. Gam, Ms. Ploy, Mr. Nut in the restaurant. However, it was very disappointing that Novotel forgot about the request of transferring the stay records and points to my Leclub account, although it had been confirmed by email before the stay, and again double-confirmed during my stay. This sort of non-follow up is not only disappointing to guests but also damaging to the hotel later. Kindly see to it that it is correctly followed up, unless otherwise it is to be carelessly handled.
