comfortable and relaxing break. beautiful sea view from our room. However, room servicing was slow and rather late at times. Need to call to obtain service. Room not vacuum clean daily, and toiletries not replenished daily. We think cleaning crew not well trained and not adequate in numbers during peak time. No control on swimming pool attire usage. Seen people (men, ladies and children) jumped into pool fully clothed.

The reception staff was friendly and efficient. All the staff were generally helpful and friendly. We were upgrade to a suite, room 502. Though the room was a little worn, it was spacious and clean. The only issue was that there was no way to have a shower without the water overflowing the shower area. The restaurant Ala carte menu was good and reasonable. The morning breakfast was really good. In particular, the char kiew teow and roti canai. We dined at the Saturday night buffet. The food was good and the desserts were very impressive. Though there were no places of interest within walking distance, transport was not an issue. We really enjoyed the view of the sea, and even saw sea otters twice.

It was one of the best holiday experience in my life,n we travel at least 4x annually - extra kudos to the cleanliness, staffing, service, friendliness, clean pool and beach, n all the facilities.. just one small point to improve on, the breakfast selection was a tad bit boring for a local like who'd prefer something more international variety.. Very glad to hav made this choice and will definitely return here at least annually.

The lobby was a bit disappointing becoz no aircond. When no breeze from the beach it make me sweat a lot while waiting for check in. The security card reader in the lift is not working. Hence, everyone can access to the hotel floors without room card.

« Comfortable beds but no tissues! »

Beds were comfortable, air conditioning was so-so - was not cold with the thermostat at 18 deg. Bathroom needs to be refurbished - mouldy sealant. Conditioner dispenser did not dispense.But most surprising was that I was told they had no stocks of tissue paper! Really???? Probably time for some upgrading of room and bathrooms to be done.

Good and easy to reach by car. Too bad there are sometime jellyfish on the beach (front desk warning) although I never see one. But I guess it is OK as long as you now really swimming in the ocean. I also got a promotion from Accor hotel.

I checked in very late at night (11pm+) on 5th July. The Valet Parking Attendant was very helpful by providing the parking bay that's directly opposite the hotel entrance. Came to Check-In, the receptionist told me I got a free upgrade to sea view room (which turned out to be spectacular in the morning view). Unfortunately, I forgot to jot down their name as it's tiring for me during the Check-In. On the Check-Out date (6th July), Deavanie and May was helpful as I asked for a little bit more time to check out later. Their welcoming and friendly attitude made me think that they are really understanding on my situation which I feel really appreciative. One thing missing is on my Accor Hotel Membership. Not sure it's being recorded or not as I showed my Membership Card during Check Out. . It's a pleasant experience with all the staff that I encountered.

Communication non existent. Emails not answered re airport collection. Eventually phoned. Travel desk very friendly but information not current .Taken to catch Hop on Hop off bus that has not been running for sometime! Room nice. House keeping slow and room not made up until late afternoon several times. Breakfast was excellent with amazing choice. Think halal, no bacon. Pool lovely and small beach attractive. Staff very friendly. Were assured our boxed breakfast would be waiting for us when we booked out for early flight but it had been forgotten. One put together in a hurry, as our car was waiting was disgusting and thrown in the airport bin. Assured the night before of sandwich, mineral water etc. This of course already paid for.. Got an apple, 2 pastries and what looked like pop corn. Very disappointed. The staff at reception, although very pleasant appear totally unprepared for their role. There are no ice buckets, we requested ice, several times and if not forgotten, was bought to us in a bucket for holding 6 bottles of beer or a wine bucket. The wine waiter had no idea what wines they stocked. We did enjoy our stay but the obvious disorganisation, which we laughed at would be totally unacceptable to others.

Arrived after the morning cycling event. The Check-in process was efficient and speedy. The staff was pleasant and friendly. The premise is a low-rise building with newly renovated Mercure style decoration. The lobby area is an open air concept with a beautiful sea view. The room is decently spacious with large windows and plenty of natural light. The sea view is a big plus point. Breakfast spread is fine servicing local and western dishes. We can choose to sit indoor or outdoor. I find the enclose area too much of echoing. Overall, we are very pleased with our stay.Thumbs up.

« Very Relaxing Holiday »

Except for the check in which was a little slow as I have to wait for the room to be ready , everything else was to my satisfaction. The sea view from my room was beautiful., The beach was clean and to sit in the hotel podium enjoying the sea Breeze and view of the sea while listening to my music from Spotify was a new experience for me. Staff were well trained and courteous, the room was comfortable and the breakfast at the hotel restaurant was all to my satisfaction.

It was exceptional to have a wonderful experience stay with friends during this trip with the special arrangement from their Assistant Front Office Manager May.
