Flawless service from all staff with a personal tough. Immaculately clean hotel. Excellent food and drinks. High security level. Value for money. Due to government taxes, spirits are extremely expensive! Only the Casino allows smoking inside. In other areas smoking is separated from no-smoking. For any issue you might face, just talk to staff and they will take care of it and go the extra mile to satisfy you!

A luxuriant home from home

This is a review of Fairmont Gold. As a diamond Accor member, we were allocated a breathtaking and luxurious corner suite overlooking the Nile, with views in multiple directions. My little girl squealed seeing the pyramids from her bedroom! From the moment we arrived at the property, service was seamless. A plethora of staff in the Gold Lounge do their utmost to retain a calm & peaceful ambiance (despite handling some ‘interesting’ guests.) Huge thanks to Mr Amer, Irish, Patricia, Christine and all the staff in the Gold lounge - for their professionalism and for making the stay pure perfection. It’s all in the unspoken details - and I appreciated the numerous occasions my preferences had been observed and subsequently pre-empted, from housekeeping to dining in the lounge. The head chef is truly wonderful - went above and beyond to accommodate dietary requirements, and even making specific recipes for me. Thank you Chef! As a very frequent traveller, finding a place I feel safe and comfortable is of utmost importance. This property was a sanctuary - the gym is one of the best I’ve seen in a Hotel (even had a reformer!) The rooftop pool area is blissful for a swim at sunset, and the spa & salon completed everything I needed to feel thoroughly looked after. I enjoyed dining across the excellent restaurants, but preferred to spend most of my time in the Gold Lounge listening to the harpist during evening cocktails and dinner; or just relaxing in the spacious suite. For travellers to Cairo or those travelling through Egypt, as we did, this is THE property to top and tail your journey. But be sure to take a few days here though - the city has so much to offer and the hotel is truly one of a kind! Anisha

Loved the hotel and the staff! Special shoutout to the staff at the gym. Very friendly and helpful. The gym it self is also very large with all the equipment you need.

It’s not the first time for me to stay at fairmont; however each time I stay I got impressed by the great hospitality; professionalism; and friendly attitude that makes you feel like home; to name the good hoteliers as they deserve to be mentioned: - Michael Shafik; if it wasn’t for him I would never consider coming back to fairmont after my bad experience in March stay; he is super friendly; super helpful and was able to help and understand my issue and resolve it with one of his colleagues in the best way ever, he is a true Asset for Fairmont and All Accor - Martina and Marina; the super helpful and smiley ladies at FG; many thanks for all the support; FG floor would be worthless without you ladies
