Room was nice and clean, staff were very friendly only negative is that the food was a bit bland, other than that all good

The cleanliness of the rooms was questionable, there were marks all along the walls that looked like bodily fluids, carpets completely stained and needing a proper clean. We ate in the restaurant on the first night and the food was unable to be eaten, salmon was over cooked, mash potato old with a film on it, coleslaw was clearly out of date and brown. Won’t be staying again unfortunately.

Friendly and efficient check-in. Right next to the motorway. Good car park. The room was clean and functional. Shower was hot. What's not to like? Bar prices were a bit steep, but all hotels rip you off once you are in 'em.

I arrived at the hotel and checked in at about 8.30 and went down to the bar to have a drink before deciding to have a bite to eat. I had a look on the laminated document in the room which stated dinner was served until 9.30pm so had time to have a drink first. One of the staff members mentioned that the kitchen was closed and they had stopped serving food and with that no resolution of getting any kind of food. I therefore placed an order on deliveroo for some food. Having placed my food order I was very surprised as a couple of other guests arrived at the bar and proceeded to order drinks and food. I heard one of the team members at the bar said the kitchen was closed and thought nothing of it. How surprised was I when not 1 but 2 meals came out of the kitchen followed by a couple of desserts ice cream and a hot pudding that seem to have been just given away to a group of guys playing pool. Not too sure why I was turned away and other guests given preferential treatment with other plates of food brought out for others It's a shame as I will no doubt feedback to our company expenses regarding the experience and the hotel as it isn't what I expected of a hotel. I was due back in Coventry in a couple of weeks for a week stay and I will definitely be taking my companies business elsewhere following this treatment
