Good hotel but loud street music at night.

This was a good hotel experience. Nice room, good front desk service, excellent club facilities. However, street music was loud and soundproofing poor. This kept us up until well after midnight when the music stopped. Apart from that the hotel is good and well located in central Melbourne.

Found it a bit odd behind the Mercure however the hotel is situated right in the middle of Melbourne. Turn right out of the alley way and you’re in Chinatown, turn left you’re in for some great shopping. The rooms are clean and good value if travelling with family having 2 queen beds. The rooms are quiet and the nice touch having free still or sparkling water available outside your room. Tried to book Chine New Year next year but unfortunately can’t make a booking! :(

Was in town to meet friends and ended up seeing a few comedy festival shows. The stay was good, but didn’t provide anything extra that I thought an Accord membership should offer. Room was okay, but nothing superb. Was nice to get a free drink per guest on the rooftop bar.
