Clean & close to station

Booked "family" package (Accor offer) and were given two rooms - but they were not adjoining. Actually, the hotel could not even offer adjacent rooms which defeated the whole concept of "family package". The rooms were simple and clean. Lobby area has tap for water (including sparkling) though there is only one lift which is a bit slow. There is small boulangerie opposite and Gare de Lyon is <5min walk away.

We like the location. The staff were friendly and we were happy to be able to store our luggage both before check in and after check out. I particularly Like the free access to water and drinks at the lobby. Think it’s a great initiative to cut down on use of plastic bottles.

Tiny rooms - one can barely put a bag or make a tour of the bed. The bathroom is even smaller. Fortunately I was alone in a double room - it is not possible for two people to fit in. The bedding is of very bad quality. The hotel is extremely noisy - one can hear every word in the street or any step inside the building. The receptionist was extremely unfriendly - my check- in felt like bothering her. Getting a note was a great favor she offered. Unfortunately the hotel offer is not great in the area, I would prefer to never come back.
