we couldnt sleep as the room was very stuffy and the air con does not work in this hotel, we were told its government regulations but we asked why it is advertised with air con and got blank expressions and the offer of a little fan heater which was a joke. For a five star the breakfast is just average and the hot food is pretty ordinary like a 3/4 star. Nice pool although watch your head on the crazy over hang at the end near the steps, nearly took my head off on this

We had a nice stay. The staff were friendly and courteous. The pool/spa area was good, only issue was that the floor was extremely slippy if wet. The overall experience was overshadowed by being charged on Day 1 without this being communicated, and then trying to take the payment again but incorrectly when we left

For a family trip to wonderful Berlin, the Pullman was a great choice. From ringing the hotel after booking to confirm connecting rooms to the welcome we received when we arrived. Overall, the hotel boasts a fantastic location, ideal for exploring the City. As you step into the foyer you are greeted by the Berlin Bear and step through into reception the statue of the giraffe is brilliant. A lot of people moan about the check in process but I found it smooth, fuss free and a simple enough process. The staff in reception couldn’t have been more helpful. We made use of the pool which was very nice and staff on hand were very friendly. The bar in the evening had a wow factor with a nice ambiance and great staff. However, the housekeeping service left much to be desired. Unfortunately, we encountered dirt on the walls, and even more concerning, an unwelcome surprise in the form of a condom wrapper found in the pocket of one of the bathrobes. This was only discovered on day three of four and reported to reception. The rooms were too hot and the air conditioning was like an asthmatic weasel blowing over a damp rag. Trying to find a room temperature balance was near impossible. WiFi was also a bit temperamental and I had to go to the main lobby to attempt to do some work. Pullman and Sofitel, within the group are impressive hotels and I have stayed at a few around the world These issues within the room and the standard of housekeeping significantly detracted from the overall experience.
