The hotel staff were lovely and helped us when needed. The hotel itself is in need of a lot of TLC - paint is peeling inside and out, lots of different colours of white/cream. Room had big scratches on the walls. Pancake machine was not working. Would be lovely once it's done up a bit.

Caitlin was superb in caring for our reunion. The 40 in our group were all impressed the same as I mention above. The only issue I have is a refund of my personal deposit has taken far longer than required to be paid. The full amount of $3300.00 was paid to Mercure well before our event and even when the event was concluded I have not been refunded. A better system should be in place and I (and others) should not be providing cash flow for Mercure.

Interesting historical building but with fully updated room.
