Horrible experience. I paid in advance with a virtual credit card and upon arrival a physical card was demanded. I cancelled my stay and went to another hotel.

Nice Facility but Poor Follow Through

While I enjoyed my stay at the Mercure Camboriu and the staff was very friendly I have not yet received the invoice/receipt for my payment. I have submitted several requests through the Accor site, and have received an automatic confirmation email of the submittal each time, but there has been no follow through or provision of the requested document (invoice/receipt of payment). The failure of the hotel staff to provide me with the requested documentation has put me into a precarious position in terms of completing my expense reporting to my company. Unless this issue is resolved I will not stay at any of your facilities again and will encourage my company to place your hotel chain on a banned list due to an apparent inability/unwillingness to provide needed financial documentation. My coworker who was on the trip with me and stayed at the same hotel has also likewise not received his invoice/receipt of payment, so this is apparently not an isolated incident.

Review link below for TripAdvisor. In summary, horrific experience- customer service & how dirty common areas are. I provided feedback to staff and management throughout our stay but the apathy and disregard were horrendous. Hard to believe the property has not been reported to the health department and sued for demand that are clearly unlawful.
