Very comfortable stay in a good location. You could mention the lack of lift, which if your on the third floor is a bit of a pain. And we dodged breakfast as it wasn't quite what we would have liked on our holiday. That is not a criticism and we emptied the room fridge, went to Coles and supplied at our own as it suited us better. The staff were very helpful when we struggled with the room safe so all in a very pleasant stay.

Comfortable Stay with Noise Concerns

Overall, I had a pleasant stay at ibis Styles Port Macquarie. The room provided was comfortable and well-equipped, offering a relaxing environment during my visit. However, I did encounter some noise disturbances in the mornings, which affected my overall experience. Despite this, the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the amenities provided were satisfactory. With some improvements to address the noise issue, I would happily consider staying at the hotel again in the future.

Not a boutique hotel

CLRL Business - TripAdvisor review

Unfortunately this is not a boutique hotel My room is in a separate building across the car park and up 2 flights of steps with no lift (no offer of help to try and get my suitcase up the many stairs). The rooms are dingy, dated, musty and the carpet is disgusting. They say it comes with a hairdryer but it’s one of those rubbish attached to the wall in the bathroom ones. Nothing in the minibar is complimentary - not even the water. There is a lot of noise at night. The door has no lock or safety feature so I have a chair pushed up against it at night. The blinds on the window do not sit flush so everyone can see into your room and it lets a lot of daylight in. Looking at the breakfast menu I am not going to bother trying it. I asked for a nicer room in advance and they said they were fully booked but then were giving out nicer rooms at reception when I was in there. The staff on reception are friendly and the location is nice but that’s the only positives.
