A bit out of the centre ,up the hill but worth it. The staff was friendly and professional, the environment was wonderful and the room was spacious. We had buffet style for breakfast but we also can choose it on the menu. The choice of our dinner was delicious and the service was impeccable. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay memorable.

Stayed for 2 nights Feb 2024. The view from the room was pretty good. Large bed and bathroom. Very clean and comfortable. The staff on reception were polite, helpful and upbeat. The location is good for exploring Wellington. There is a brewery bar around the corner (take the alleyway at the bottom of the hill) and also a bakery. The main way that this hotel could be improved would be to include breakfast in the room rate, as I don’t think this would be an unrealistic expectation for the price that we paid.

The hotel is new so I’m being kind of as the staff need more training and appear to rely on one guy on the desks . He is skilled and helpful but the others are not as smiley and welcoming as they should be. For the prices charged you should get breakfast but it’s extra For the prices charged you should get parking but it’s extra . Location gives a good view over the city but boy is it a steep walk back up . The hotel makes it an asset it’s easy to access the Cuba part of town . Cuba is a dirty dump of a place and not the best of Wellington in my view . There is a hotel,channel on the TV - it gives no information at all . All in all it’s a clean corporate hotel that’s about it

As you did highlight we do have a couple of new team members at the front desk who we are training at the moment, they are very warm personalities however may be a bit nervous being at the front line in their initial days as they settle down . I take your comment on-board on the breakfast and parking to be included in the room rate, we do ensure our pricing is competitive and try our best to offer value through our daily complimentary chocolate hour and leisure facilities. Our VIP lift provides quick access to the hotel from Watson Street followed by a 12 minutes to the city center and is open from 6am 10pm which will save you walking up the hill. Ho soggiornato 2 notti durante il fine settimana in questo hotel. Comincio col dire che la posizione è molto comoda, pur essendo panoramica, in pochi passi si arriva a Cuba Street, che è la zona di riferimento per i ristoranti. Siamo arrivati in auto, prenotando la camera lungo il tragitto, scelta fatta anche perchè il sito italiano di Accor, sul quale ho prenotato, pubblicizzava un ampio parcheggio. La prima sorpresa è stata che si trattava di un valet parking, al costo di 35 dollari al giorno. Quando ho detto all'addetto della reception che non volevamo pagare per il parcheggio, ho chiesto quale potesse essere un'alternativa. Risposta: nessuna possibilità di parcheggio a Wellington. Gli faccio notare che è venerdì sera e che da qualche parte, avevo letto che i parcheggi nel week end fossero un po' piú facili da trovare. Solo in quel momento mi è stata data qualche indicazione in merito, risultato: ho parcheggiato l'auto gratuitamente in strada a 50mt dall'hotel. Altra discussione, la tariffa. Faccio notare che ho scelto una tariffa prepagata di solo pernottamento, aggiungendo la colazione extra. La colazione non risultava pagata, dopo parecchio e tempo e dopo aver mostrato la mail di conferma, mi dicono che è tutto a posto, a parte il fatto che la colazione nel week end viene servita dalle 7 del mattino e, avendo noi il traghetto alle 8, non ne avremmo potuto usufruire. Ma vi diamo un bel sacchettino con la colazione, mi dicono. A quel punto non ho discusso oltre e me ne sono andata, esausta, in camera. Camera cupa, con affaccio sull'ingresso dell'hotel. Pulita, ma non c'è riassetto serale. Il giorno successivo chiedo al ristorante per la colazione del mattino della partenza e, molto gentilmente, mi dicono di scendere alle 6.30 che ci avrebbero fatto trovare qualcosa di pronto al buffet, e così è stato (ma alla reception non lo sapevano?? Mah...). Al momento del check out altra discussione sulla tariffa, ho spiegato loro che se n'era già discusso all'arrivo e che avevamo molta fretta per via del traghetto. Ho dovuto mandare loro la mail che avevo ricevuto di conferma, mi hanno detto che avrebbero sistemato il tutto e mandato la fattura, che avevo richiesto, via mail. Ho dovuto sollecitare l'invio della fattura che è arrivata con l'intestazione sbagliata, ancora non so se hanno sistemato i conti. Arrivavamo da un soggiorno in un Sofitel, sempre della stessa catena. Tutta un'altra cosa. Un consiglio ad Accor: lasciate i 5 stelle a Sofitel, loro sanno come fare.

Un bellissimo hotel di design, posizionato a soli 5' a piedi dalla famosa Cuba Street. Accogliente di design (curato in ogni suo particolare) che di personale ( capace, gentile, professionale). Felice di aver scelto questo hotel, lo rifarei, lo consiglio....anche, sopratutto per lo chef ed il suo superlativo menù.
