Great location let down by aging building and facilities. Shower smaller than the one in our caravan. Mould between glass of shower screen. Toilet running constantly and noisily disrupting sleep. Hotel too hot requiring room air conditioning set to a lower temperature and that air conditioning unit noisy

Large apartments close to CBD

From the moment i spoke with Mark in regards to.my Accor Gold booking on the phone, to the minute we checked out, we experienced brilliant customer service from The whole team during our stay. Our 1 bedroom apartment was available early when checking in, the lovely gifts and card left in our roo .from management welcoming us to Mantra Joimont. The apartment had a lovely view from.6th floor over the pool and CBD. We were surprised with the decor and room furnishings as some reviews suggested a tired and older hotel. This is not the case in our opinion. Our room was sparkling clean and fresh, the bed was super comfortable and blackout curtaims were terific. I thought the lobby and restaurant was small and nicely furnished. We had a great stay! Would stay again.

Mantra staff were extremely helpful and polite. Rooms were clean and comfortable. A little disappointed that the bar and restaurant were only open Thursday evenings but it did not affect our stay at all. Close to the free tramlines and also walking distance to the city and surrounds. I will return.

Shame, such a lovely hotel but seriously outdated

The bathroom was incredibly outdated. Every-time we came into the room it smelt as though someone had been in the room and had explosive diarrhoea. It absolutely rieked. Luckily we didn't spend much time in the room besides sleeping at night. For the ridiculous price we paid, one) there needs to be some renovations done; your reviews all say the same on google yet it seems the hotel hasn't listened to these reviews at all and 2) i think the smell was obviosuly coming from water / mould damage behind the walls, wasnt a small thing that can be repaired overnight.
