Great place when you need to spend most of you stay near gare du nord, perfect with nice restaurants, be in central Paris and transport

All went fine. Family of 4, breakfast is available from 06:30 if I'm not mistaken until 11:00 during the weekends. The children (13 & 11) loved the breakfast. Only toilet brush not in the toilet when it was needed.

Decent hotel with issues

We stayed one night in a family room. The location is good, the staff friendly, but the room is where it started to go wrong. The double bed wobbled which we reported and was fixed with some cardboard under the leg and some free drink vouchers. However the room air conditioning seems to be set at a minimum of 19.5 degrees making sleep at night very uncomfortable. We turned it off and opened a window letting in all the drunken noise from the street below. The room was still baking all night and it wasn’t even warm outside. I got about 2 hours sleep due to the shouting/ singing and heat. Breakfast was good though.

Well located, but had to fry/boil eggs myself

This was my first experience ever of boiling/frying eggs myself. We were a family of 4, and each of the 3 days, I had to waste at least 20 minutes to fry eggs for my family, before I could sit down and enjoy the breakfast. There were very few food options that weren't sweet. Finally, the attitude of the bartender in the evening was very different towards me, compared to the other guests who were sitting there and having drinks. He was talking so nicely to the others while he was quite cold to me when I tried to order and even when I was paying - felt a bit racially discriminated. The other waiters at the restaurant were quite warm though. Also, what's up with 11 EUR for a single egg for snack? That was outrageous. I actually started this review by clicking on 8, but by the time I was done writing this review, I ended up changing the rating to 4.
