What a lovely Hotel to stay at, seem less check in with a friendly staff member, our room on the 5 level had a gorgeous lake view. Bed was so comfortable and when we had the room made up it was so lovely to come back to a lovely clean room. The Hill I heard so much about was quite steep to come up, easy going down! We got an Uber down when we were going out one night and it was drizzling and it was $10. The hotel is very close to the wharf - less than ten minutes to walk to the main area . Great location so convenient to everything, thoroughly recommend.

Lovely property and staff - marred by in-room service cost-savings dressed up as environemntal concerns. Any other property you stay at this level provides a stocked mini-bar with milk, coffee plunger and even cookies. You have to 'order' milk which arrives in a 100mm wee bottle. Come-on Accor ... invest in some old fashion Kiwi room service hospitality. Credit though - to the birthdays sweets provided inform. Nice - thank you.

Dear Tobias, Thank you for completing our post stay survey and for your thoughts on our efforts toward reducing waste. It's a tricky one - we certainly understand that convenience and high standards in hospitality is vital, but we make no apology for striving to reduce waste. Commercial operations such as ours used to produce eye watering amounts of waste (even minibars that expire, plastic milk pods or tetrapaks, disposable slippers and, plastic water bottles). We have made real efforts in this space and make no apology for having eliminated it all. We are proud of our daily fresh milk service that delivers more milk than we did in the old days. Wokeness aside, we hope that our new fashioned Kiwi hospitality goes a little way to keeping our place beautiful. Having just visited the Northern Hemisphere, I'm proud that we are leading the way. Everything was perfect from the great location to the amazing views of the mountains and lake. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and the harbour! Friendly staff happy to accommodate all our requests. We had a wonderful stay! Would definitely go back!
