Great place for a layover in Singapore

While on our stopover between flights we took advantage of the Grand Mercure Singapore Roxy. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the use of the executive lounge and related services. The staff thoughtfully moved our room to the quietest part of the hotel as noisy street works were in progress. With the beach and local markets so close it was great to stretch our legs and be so close to the shopping and food outlets. This will be an even more attractive stay with the opening of the MRT station right out side the front door.

Basic hotel but the awareness of important thing is very little

I’ve stupidly left my keyless Range Rover key which I need it most to get my car from Perth Long Term car park and head home 250km to Busselton. I rang the hotel directly around 7pm from BALI (two days transit before head to perth). The staff did say they have my key. But why waiting for me to reach them first???? I was still wondering around in Singapore after checked out! Why no one send me an email if calling overseas number is too much? Why???
