Very lovely, elegant hotel with the perfect downtown location. Some minor fixes and it could be a 5 star…i.e. update the heating/cooling system, new carpets, proper technicians providing spa service, valets at door during evening hours…etc. Overall, however, pleased and would consider staying here again on my return to Auckland.

Specially the comments in regard to the technicians in the Spa is concerning so is the heating cooling system. We are working on the process in order to get this fixed. Very noisy

We stayed in a Superior room which was lovely although it overlooked a bus park(331) All was fine until the morning when all the buses started their engines and from 5am. Prior to that from 3.40 am deliveries had been coming in to the delivery area right under our window, again engines running and lots of banging from unloading. We told reception ( Nirvane) but because of the boat show there were no alternatives.

there was milk left in the coffee unit from the previous person how stay in the room I stayed for 3 night and the milk vessel was not cleaned during the daily room cleaning. the day I checked out the breakfast was not charged to my room account and was later charged to my company corporate card. no invoice was emailed to me I had to ring and request an invoice and still no invoice was sent.
