**Disappointing Experience at Novotel Seoul Ambassador** As a frequent traveler and a gold status member, I had high expectations for my stay at Novotel Seoul Ambassador. However, my recent experience left much to be desired. The first issue arose when I had to check out a day early due to unforeseen circumstances. Despite my loyalty and long-term commitment to the brand, the hotel refused to provide a refund for the unused night. While I understand that some rates may be non-refundable, I expected more flexibility and accommodation as a valued customer. The second incident occurred on a Sunday morning when I encountered difficulties with the included breakfast. To my surprise, the hotel had failed to register my name or room number for the complimentary meal. This oversight led to a chaotic situation, with a long line forming behind me as staff attempted to rectify the error. The lack of organization and attention to detail was both frustrating and stressful. Overall, my experience at Novotel Seoul Ambassador fell short of my expectations. Despite being a loyal customer, I did not feel valued or appreciated during my stay. Moving forward, I hope the hotel takes steps to improve their customer service and address these issues to ensure a more enjoyable experience for all guests.

my family and I stayed in the hotel for a week. it was our first time to visit Korea and we were very excited so we planned a lot of activities going to different places. it was a HUGE BLESSING that the hotel was beside Yongsan station and therefore it was so easy for us to move around. after our activities it was such a delight to rest and sleep in your rooms. the bed, the lighting, the shower, even the TV that showed a lot of Korean shows and a couple of English ones, the aircon and the heater - they were very comforting for people who're exhausted from travelling. i especially loved the location and design of the sink in the room.

In overall, I found the staff to be unhelpful in addressing guest inquiries, here are some bad experience from my side: 1) Upon arrival, there was no indication that complimentary gifts were available for Accor members (just a box left in the mini bar table until I specifically inquired if it's a gift? 2) When I called to provide feedback about the lack of instructions regarding toothbrush and toothpaste availability due to policy causing we did not prepare for that - the staff just say like Uh huh what's next :)) 2) Regarding the lunch discount policy for Accor members, I was initially informed of a 20% discount, but upon questioning, the staff simply mentioned with attitude that yes, it just changed policy and walked away. 3) The Premier Lounge on the 26th floor, intended for premier guests, was used during buffet lunch hours for a waiting place for lunch buffet. 4) I was surprised that there was long queue for breakfast earlier and there was a strict 20-minute time limit the food exchange floor :)))

Floor needed more cleaning, walls were visibly scratched throughout unit, body soap was low on arrival, shower was difficult to get in and out of.

Stayed there for 3 nights with the family over my birthday. Wife got 2 of her white long sleeves sleeping wear missing after wearing it the first night after housekeeping. No coffee/ tea after the 2nd night.
