Hotel is located pretty centrally, in a bit of a warren of streets but handy for most parts of the centre of town. Room was a good size, service great, no complaints. Decor is very 'Hoxton' and 1970s, which I like. Others may not, of course. Marseille's a big, grubby, lively city and Mama Shelter fits right in. Recommended.

It was a bad experience.

There is no normal coffee, no normal air conditioning. There was an attempt to make us pay for the accommodation twice. We paid for 2 nights' accommodation, breakfast and parking at check in. At check out we were asked to pay again.

Enjoyed calling Mama Shelter Marseille home for a few days. Very friendly and helpful team. Room overlooked a lovely courtyard and enjoyed the sun every morning. Great breakfast buffet every morning and fun drinks and entertainment in the evening.
