The car park is overpriced and quite tricky to access, also there was a marathon taking place which the hotel didn’t inform us at causing us to be stuck in Birmingham for much longer than we wanted to be as we had distance to travel home. The breakfast was nice.

Clean and comfortable rooms - some of our party struggled with the noise. The service in the bar was poor, waited a long time for a coffee - had to remind them of my order, it tasted awful when it arrived!

Very convenient for city centre access. Rooms are not large but they were well presented and adequate for an overnight stay Had read comments about noise but we didn’t experience any problems Managed to park on site, only problem was following day I was not able to leave until late afternoon due to road closures for Birmingham Half Marathon. Staff did extend my parking but it would have been helpful if I had been told in advance so that I had the choice of parking outside the closed area

Jilly s Friends getaway - TripAdvisor review

Great stay at the Ibis. 2nd time of visiting and it didn’t disappoint. Location is perfect for the Hippodrome but also easy access to the bullring and new street Staff at the hotel are fantastic and Raju in particular was super helpful With guests of all ages. Breakfast was lovely. Glad we were on the quiet side of the hotel again as Birmingham was a popular place this weekend. Will definitely be back.
