Very average for what you pay

My husband and I booked a staycation here for a night for our 19th wedding anniversary. We live on the Sunshine Coast and just wanted a nice night away. The reception is amazing but that’s where it ends. The rooms are very dated and the bed was very hard. No robes, no slippers. We normally stay at Altitude at Montville where you get all this plus a spa on the balcony for much cheaper. The buffet breakfast was good although the hot food was cold. The best part of our night was the local Thai restaurant Baan Mai, amazing! Would be revisit, no.

The resort is beautifully located close to the ocean at Twin Waters on the Sunshine Coast. The lagoo with a walk around path and the beautifully kept gardens provide a nice setting for the resort. The foyer of the hotel and the rooms were renovated and fresh looking. The restaurant and pool change rooms still need a lift and looked tired. The hotel is ideal for families as it offers a number of activities for children. Our room was close to a major building site across the road which was a bit noisy early in the morning .Staff was very friendly and the bistro food was good. The High Tea experience was exceptional.

Raphael, Wendy & Ann were superb in their customer service. The high tea we had I could not fault, & catered foe my dietary needs. Our holiday was a great break. The resort had every facility you could think of to enable guests to relax & forget about the world outside 😁
