Room was decent but so many items that are not available at the room, not even basics. No fridge, no kettle, no water bottles, no trash bin on the toilet. Water leaks outside the shower pan after showering. I’m just glad the staff are nice & they approved our late check-out since our flight is 9pm.

Very Poor Stay

The stay at this property was very poor. Despite the Government starting the summer time and despite very high temperature, the hotel did not start air conditioning. When i requested they did not even give a fan or even the window was closed. very suffocating. the receptionist mentioned that nothing can be done and i need to manage and suffer

Poor security

The storage room for guest bags and suitcases is unlocked and staff don’t even look when people go in and out of it. Completely unacceptable and reckless. I’ve never stayed anywhere including several Ibis in other countries where the bag storage room is not at least locked or better still where bags are tagged also. The staff clearly don’t care. Will never return.

Just Ok

On arrival we were given our room which was a disabled access room. It had a wet room bathroom, adaptions ect. We are abled bodied so did not need this. The drainage was so poor it flooded the whole bathroom, I slipped, towels were soaking. Not good at all, there was also no mirror in the room just the bathroom so I’m stood in a pool of water drying my hair with an electrical appliance! We asked for a move and the hotel obliged. The second room was so much better, I cant believe they shoved us in the first one in comparison. It was more modernised and the only criticism I have of this room was the heat, the air con did not work and the room was too hot to sleep. Its March god help the visitors in mid summer unless they sort it out. Its an obis so do not expect luxury but facilities are adequate for what you need on a city break. Staff were friendly enough and location was good. It’s called Wenceslas square but in reality it is a good 10 minute walk away from the actual square slightly uphill for those with mobility issues. It was fine for us though. Prague itself is beautiful and we had an enjoyable trip. It’s just a shame our first of 3 nights was in an inadequate room.
