Since I was moving houses I had to stay at the Novotel for over two weeks. How do I even start? On the first day my friend and I ordered a hot chocolate with whipped cream. The drinks arrived cold and with no added whipped cream . When we asked for some extra they said they would come bring it, however it never arrived and we had to go up to them and ask again since no none came for over 20 minutes. We were then told that they were out of stock. We said we did not want them anymore and were treated with disgust and annoyance. When sitting in the restaurant to study I was not asked for 3 hours if I wanted to drink something. When asking for scissors I was treated poorly and the girl at the reception just told me to ask someone else. When asking questions at the reception it was treated as a major inconvenience and was not helped. The cleaning of the room was poor, the staff came in multiple times without knocking which is unacceptable. The beds were not changed and i had to sleep in stains for over a week. The floor did not get vacuumed once. The dead mosquitoes i found on the window sill on day 1 was still there on the day of the checkout. When asking the staff for cleaning they just denied it and gave me sheets to do it myself. When I arrived the tv and mini fridge were broken and I had to ask 3 times for someone to come fix it. In conclusion, the stay was very disappointing and the staff inside of the hotel were everything but hospitable.

We booked a family holiday to visit my son while he is on erasmus. There were 3 of us and we stayed in a queen superior room which was very comfortable and decorated well. It was a good location as it is close to public transport. We ate one meal in the hotel, the menu is limited but well executed. There is a self service area for snacks and drinks. We enjoyed our stay and would go back.

My experience at the Novotel Den Haag World Forum during the All Systems Connect International Symposium was nothing short of excellent. The hotel maintained a pristine level of cleanliness throughout, ensuring a hygienic and comfortable environment for guests. The view from my room was simply breathtaking, offering a stunning panorama that added an extra dimension to my stay. The hotel's panoramic escalator was a standout feature. While the room size was not overly spacious, it was perfectly adequate for my needs. The bike rental service offered by the hotel was a convenient way to explore the city at my own pace. It enhanced my experience by allowing me to easily navigate Den Haag's streets and discover its charms. Overall, the hotel offers an unforgettable experience for travelers visiting Den Haag.

This is one of the lowest ratings I've given a hotel that wasn't a horror story. It's earned this because it could and should be so much better. I stayed here a couple of years ago. Very nice customer service from the desk staff but there were maintenance issues in the room that they didn't resolve when I reported them. Now I'm back and there are self-service kiosks replacing good people (the attending staff was still nice). It was more like going into an apartment building than a hotel -- there isn't even a real on-site restaurant (and not even an off-site in close proximity). The in-room safe didn't work. No heat in the room (they did provide an electric heater which, quite frankly, worked well). No USB ports which indicates a need for a refresh. Room was fairly clean, though. Although there was a bar there was no food. This hotel really needs to keep up on maintenance and focus on what it is. You don't get hospitality from TV screens and credit card readers. There's a Marriott down the street. I've stayed there several times. It is a much more happening place. The Novotel isn't the Marriott -- that's understood -- but it could be more than it now is.
