The reception team were very helpful however sadly the rest was not up to standard. There were tiny little cockroaches in the room - a lady was smoking underneath us however when I said something I was told it was a privately owned apartment and they could not say anything - yet it is advertised as a non-smoking complex. The main shower leaked when you use it. When the plumber came, we were told it was a design fault and they knew about it - we needed to use extra towels to mop us the water. The furniture in the apartment was all mismatched. Overall, I was very disappointed and expecting it to be of a higher standard.

We are working closely with our owners of each apartments for furniture upgrades and majority of rooms have now been fully repainted. With your feedback it does assist in encouraging the owners of each apartment to upgrade the furniture in the rooms. I have also passed on your comments to the housekeeping team to ensure they are reporting any pest concerns, we have the annual pest spray but it could possibly be due to all the rain that some critters have come out, our apologies. Was only there to sleep. The room I was in needs a bit of a freshen up. Everything worked though and the bed was comfortable

Whilst I love this hotel at Maroochydore, especially its location, apron arrival, the lady at the reception desk (Amy) offered me to use my drinks vouchers up straight away. She asked if I wanted red or white wine. I replied white. I then asked how I’m I getting it. She then said that it would be in a glass. I said, unfortunately I can not take it now as I was bringing in my luggage from the car and had no hands to carry them. She pulled a face and said that everybody had it upon arrival. I said that I will leave it until later on. She pulled another face and said that I’ll miss out. I could not understand the big hurry, and to offer it in a glass in the foyer of the hotel as I was about to get my luggage, with no place to really sit. And since it was a humid day it was probably not a good idea to offer people Alcohol when they are probably dehydrated at 2pm in the afternoon.

We absolutely appreciate the feedback as we always endeavour to improve where possible to ensure the best accommodation and service is provided. Firstly my apologies, I am surprised by the mention of the alcohol being forced on you. A lot of properties do different offers for our Accor Plus members as we are not all the same, especially properties that do not have food and beverage outlets attached to them. I am confused to read that Amy would be forcing a glass of wine or the use of drink vouchers as we do not offer either of these at this property so I would like to understand more what happened. If you have time it would be great if you could provide further information surrounding this in case I am not understanding what you were meaning - I want to make sure we are getting it right. We personalise the arrival for our Accor guests with offering the welcome drink at reception so they get their choice of what the actually want not just a bottle of alcohol or water within the room that they might not drink. We offer both beer, wine (red, white, bubbles) or water be it Capri sparkling or Capri still water. My sincere apologies if water was not offered at the time of arrival, we do love to provide great service and welcome our valuable Accor members with a personalised stay as much as possible. I appreciate you feedback as mentioned as we always want to improve and be better. We do hope to welcome you back in the future and hopefully exceed your expectations. Thank you and talk to you soon. Staff were fantastic at the desk. Very friendly, helpful and efficient. Our unit had mould issues with outdoor furniture but was generally quite clean and well kept inside.
