I stay at this hotel often for business. The staff is so professional, friendly and always helpful. The hotel restaurant offers great food and service. Must visit the coffee cafe, Tres Coracoes ask for Felipe or Ketlen, they are the best!! They make the best Latte!!

Convenient location in a beautiful neighborhood, next to Itaú Cubo. Some shopping malls nearby and a lot of restaurants walking distance. With its modern renovation and spacious rooms, it is my go to place at a good rate for short business trips in São Paulo.

Overall I´ve always liked to stay at the Gran Mercure Vila Olimpia. It´s close to my office, my prefered gym, the staff is polite, food is good and the room is comfortable with one exception: the air conditioning system (AC). As I was progressing in my All status - mostly due stays in other Accor units - I endured the hot sleep nights at the Gran Mercure for I was trying to get the Platinum status (missed for only 5 nights). But since my status scored zeroed, I will not tolerate it anymore and have placed this hotel on the bottom of my preference list, choosing to stay there only if another option isn´t available. The AC thermostat in the room simply do not work! I have reported several problems without any really action from the hotel: 1) it never reaches the coolest temperature selected (18,5o Celsius) 2) during the night it continuously turns itself off for several minutes and then turns back on for 30-40 seconds only - so the room gets hotter and not cooler 3) since the hotel was unable to solve the problem, I´ve asked several times for a simple bed sheet in replace of the heavy sewn blanket they have in every room - simple request, but I never got it!! Instead the answer I got was it was not possible to give a simple sheet, because it wasn´t part of the brand standards... Maybe making a guest uncomfortable is... I reported those problems several times in several stays to several people, and I was simply ignored. By the way this last stay I was hosted in the worst room in the hotel!! It wasn´t even refurbished yet. Just for knowledge, I am also a gold status guest at the Renaissance, Sheraton and Hilton, and never had the same problem!! Those are now my preferred choice of stay in São Paulo

De qualquer maneira, deixo aqui meu contato caso eu possa auxiliá-lo em qualquer necessidade futura: h8… Saiba que o senhor é um hóspede muito importante e odiaríamos perder uma próxima oportunidade de recebê-lo e oferecer uma verdadeira experiência Grand Mercure.
