Great location but there were issues

The hotel is in a great location and some staff were excellent. However, parking offsite in the Capitol Towers is not secure and at $22 a night is $10 more than Capitol Towers charges its own guests. The duty supervisor, Nadia, was unfriendly and not customer focused. She literally chased us through the hotel from restaurant to bar to foyer over a $3 discrepancy in a bottle of mineral water. At checkout I showed Nadia a photo of the dust and dirt under the bathroom sink to which she replied "yep". After questioning this response Nadia said she would let cleaning staff know so they can give it a good clean. I would have thought a good clean was part of the service. Paid for an upgrade to bath, no bath salts. Breakfast on the Thu morning was so busy, the waitress was the only one on duty, she was run off her feet. Our meals sat on the bench for some time and was cold when it was finally delivered. On a positive note, bar staff were great. James on the desk was terrific but overall our experience was not as we expected it to be.

Business stay. Good location

90% of the stay was very good. The service around bar and coffee was very low. Need extra staff to handle the numbers. The rooms were very nice but the parking is a long way from some rooms.

Stayed 4 nights, Staff was very friendly. Disappointed that there is no gym even though the website shows there is. Room had no USB charger which is a small thin but seems standard in and necessary in 2024. Breakfast was disappointing. $33 for eggs and bacon

Good ambience, quiet room, good food

3 day weekend stay, very good food at restaurant. Comfortable bar to relax before and after. Room adequate rather than spacious. Concur with other guests that bathroom lighting is woefully inadequate. Parking in nearby apartment basement was quite doable. So many road closures due to light rail and Sunday marathon made driving a challenge- much easier to walk- but that’s not the hotel fault. Overall a good stay
