I reserved a "top floor ocean view room" months in advance. When I arrived at the hotel I was told they were fully booked and they gave me a 4th floor classic with partial ocean view and I can see directly into my neighbors room. They tried to make up for it by offering my chocolates - which was a nice offer - but I politely declined as it doesn't resolve anything in my mind. I also found two used robes bundled up in the closet floor. The hotel is in a great location, and the staff was nice. However, I travelled all the way from California for this room for one night, and so left pretty dissatisfied. I expected more from Pullman.

The hotel is located very conveniently next to the beach, yet central in Viña. The employees are super friendly, helpful at all times, fluent in English as well and generally very attentive. Food was an easy 11/10, especially on the lovely rooftop bar and for Dinner. Great mix of traditional food and popular dishes from across the world. The cocktails are awesome and can be enjoyed in the sun, or in a pool which is also on the roof, offering a splendid view. My room was excellently cleaned, had enough space for my stuff, an open shower, window to the sea, curtains and electric roller blinds. I was almost sad to leave for my further journey on a cruise ship (!). Highly recommendable and very happy with my stay. Thanks!

I stayed 6 nights January 21-27, 2024. I found the hotel to be in a good location near beaches and walking distance to restaurants and some sights. My first experience was with the staff. I had booked a sea view and on check in was told I had a city view. I said I had booked a sea view and it was changed. When I got to the room I found that the view was to the North and although the sea was visible I didn't consider it a sea view room. I went back to reception and explained this, said I was staying 6 nights and asked if my room could be changed to look East directly to the sea. I was very grateful for the room was changed and enjoyed the sea view from my room for the week. The lobby and restaurant areas were nicely decorated and provided a modern feel. Breakfast was very good and appreciated for its convenience. The room decor was also modern with good space for my person and my clothes. I have a couple of comments, but not complaints, on the bathroom. The open shower made it impossible to keep water from getting out onto the floor and shower mat. Thankfully a new shower mat was provided every day. There were also no towel racks only 2 hooks - 1 for hand towel and 1 for shower towel. This made it hard for the towels to dry and would be a problem if there was more than 1 person staying in the room. There was room for towel rack(s) on the wall behind the toilet. Another addition which would be good to have, due to the proximity of the beach, would be an outdoor faucet (or even shower) to rinse off feet and gear for sand from the beach to keep it out of the hotel and especially the rooms. Overall I was pleased with my choice of Pullman Vina del Mar San Martin for my stay.
