Ontspan en geniet in het BreakFree Great Sandy Straits, het enige resort in Hervey Bay dat volledig aan het water ligt. Gelegen naast de jachthaven en het strand, dus de perfecte plek om te genieten van een ontspannen levensstijl. Ontspan en geniet van he t uitzicht vanuit uw studio, appartement met 1, 2 of 3 slaapkamers of Penthouse. Er is altijd wel iets te doen dankzij twee zwembaden, tennisbanen, barbecue en een speelkamer voor de kleintjes.

With the beach right outside your door, you can grab the kids and spend the day at the shore, or if you're hungry, the resort is close to the main marina, where you can find some fantastic restaurants to try.

Cool off with a refreshing dip in our large outdoor, lagoon style pool. Alternatively, you can choose to keep fit by swimming laps in our 25 meter lap pool. Both are perfect on a hot summers day, especially after a big day out exploring Hervey Bay

This is our fifth stay since 2019. We love the location and will return, because you just can't get a better location, but some serious building maintenance needs to be done. Rusted gutters on the top floor, dripping down banging in metal awnings below, at night during rain was not great. Unit we were in - Bathroom window not lockable, water damaged window sills, faulty feiling fan in main bedroom, very old and dirty lounges.

Disappointing and not clean

Booking process was ok but the central booking staff couldn't answer specific questions about the resort. When I called the resort directly or took 7 calls to get through. The room wasn't as clean as what r thought it should be. There were cockroaches in the kitchen and it looked like someone had spilt something in front of the fridge on the floor and not cleaned it up. We found a false nail (not mine) on the floor in the lounge area. The washer dryer was full of lint and didn't come with instructions. We were not informed that the resort didn't have wifi and it is not specified on the website or at time of booking. Who doesn't have internet at a large resort? We paid for the view and nothing else. Apartment outdated and not practical. Wouldn't recommend staying there.

Disappointing Stay

During our two-day stay at the apartment, we encountered several issues that significantly impacted our experience. Firstly, we were disappointed to find that there was no dishwashing liquid, laundry liquid, or hand wash available in the kitchen area. This made it challenging for us to maintain basic hygiene standards throughout our stay. Additionally, there was a noticeable lack of coffee or tea, which are typically expected amenities in accommodations of this nature. One of the most significant inconveniences was the absence of internet access. In today's digital age, access to the internet is essential for communication purposes. The malfunctioning phone line further exacerbated our communication challenges. Furthermore, we were disappointed by the lack of room services during our stay. Despite being there for two days, there was no room cleaning or replenishment of amenities, leaving us to manage without essential items and in an unclean living space.

Amazing location! Amazing views! I honestly believe the location is one of the best in the Bay. Staff were easy to deal with and pleasant. The room was tired and dated, but still very comfortable. Great experience all up. Will definitely be coming back!

We had a Cousin come here from UK so we thought we should show her this magnificent area. Such Fabulous views and so close with easy access to Fraser Island. This whole area is Beautiful. We always recommend this great Accommodation. We will be back - thank you.
