Clean and modern decor. Staff very helpful, especially the waitor who helped with the electronic menu and food recomendations. The burger for main and the cheese cake for desert were fantastic.

25.5° at night, no aircon, no fans, windows almost sealed shut

The room was ridiculously hot, complained. Was told the aircon wasn’t allowed on yet due to local laws - this would have been fine if they had fans (they don’t) or if you could open the window (you can’t). They offered me another room but said they were all the same. Gave me a discount at check out because of it

Novotel is known for providing standard quality all over the world. In el Campo de las Naciones the 'standard' was formed by dated and not very well functioning infrastructure (terrible smell in the room, weak sound proof, partially working bed lamps) and excellent staff (friendly, hospitable, willing to help)

Stayed here for an event at IFEMA. The hotel is well located for IFEMA. We booked a premium room. The room was very clean and tidy. However I felt the facilities in the room were basic for a premium room - 2 paper cups instead of ceramic cups, no teaspoons to stir hot drinks. The pool was our main reason for choosing this hotel however it was not open, apparently it only opens a couple of months in the summer - this needs to be made clearer on all advertising sites for this hotel. There was no peephole in the door, even though this is advertised on the hotel's website. The bar service was very slow.
