From the moment I arrived the staff were friendly, helpful, professional and accommodating. I attended an event and the events staff were fantastic, special mention to Chloe (Food and Beverage Manager), David and Gemma who were very attentive and helpful. The building/hotel itself was very disappointing and well below my expectations for Accor/Mecure. The hotel was very dated, and the room was more 2–3-star motel in standard. There are many examples I could give but the worst is that the shower door was missing resulting in water flooding the bathroom, the bathroom flooring was moldy and was peeling away from the ground, there were white stains on the floor and around the toilet, the fan in the bathroom didn't work. I had thought about ordering some in room dining but chose not to after seeing the state of the room and reading poor reviews online about the onsite restaurant. If Mercure/Accor make a significant investment in the hotel to bring it up to 4 star standard I will give it another chance but until then unfortunately I will choose another hotel in Perth for my next visit.

Staff were great. Room is old and needs maintenance, shower runs hot then cold, bathroom door scrapping across the floor, air-conditioning adjuster non responsive and room was cold. Lifts were dirty with the same biscuits on the floor for whole 48 hours we were there. Maybe you should stay there yourself, to see what needs fixing. Surprising for a first world country?
