Approachable and helpful staff

Lovely room with view, helpful staff, but few places in room for storing items. Was living from suitcase. My main and big issue is that the rooms were hot, particularly at night and I could not sleep. There was no air conditioning available despite it being advertised on all publicity. Apparently room cooling is not possible until summer. Admittedly it was unseasonably warm for the first 3 nights. Noise from the street was loud so that leaving the window open was not an option. Staff provided a fan which helped.

Located in the heart of the city of Biarritz, just a stone's throw away from the main beach, this place of exception offers the charm of Art Deco and the discreet yet competent service of the staff, making our stay very enjoyable.

You need a head torch to stay here

Lovely position, friendly staff, good room but the lighting levels are very low and the coffee machine, itself not reliable, is cunningly placed in an unlit cupboard with the kettle where after sunset it is impossible to operate safely without your own torch.

Beautiful Hotel

We had 4 nights in February so the hotel and town were very quiet. However, services and standards at the hotel were still superb. Ths 1930s decors of the hotel is stunning, and everything was immaculately clean. Service at reception, the bar and at breakfast were all excellent. I would love to stay again in summer. One of the best hotels I have stayed in.
