We stood at reception for 10 minutes and even shouted hello into the office as no one at the reception desk. There was a traveller wedding taking place the night of our stay. For a hotel advertised as an airport hotel this seems counter productive as people book this hotel for an early night before a flight. The music went on until 11pm and could be heard from both our rooms despite asking for a quiet floor. To drown the music thudding out i tried to turn on the TV to discover no remote control in the room. I tried to call down to reception but was getting a beeping tone as though the line was switched off. I then proceeded to get re dressed to go down to reception to report the missing remote control. After another wait, the receptionist handed me a replacement and said to call if it did not work. I explained the phone wasn’t working properly and his response was it was switched off due to the music. He said the phone would work again once I returned to my room. The remote control did not work so I called down to reception and the gentlemen came up with a working replacement. Once settled into bed after the music stopped we then preceded to hear wedding guests shouting and running up and down the halls until the early hours of the morning. Will not be using this hotel again and will be advising others to avoid

I had a very pleasant experience during my stay! The staff was helpful and welcoming trying to accommodate me at their best. The rooms were spacious, clean and cozy. The food was delicious and diverse offering vegan options. I truly enjoyed my stay and I do recommend this hotel! Thank you Mercure Hotel!

We stayed for one night which was one night too many! 4 star??! Its no more than 2 at most. Dreadful tiny rooms. Noisy generator outside the bedroom window. Bathroom sub standard with very cheap decor. Absolutely no where near 4 star. Completely misrepresented on the holidays extra site. Would definitely not stay here again. Definately not recomended. Best bit was collecting our car after our holiday to get away from it. Worst night sleep ever too with slamming doors and people running up and down the hallway at 1am, 2am, 3am and 4am. This should be monitored by staff. Mercure should hang their heads in shame. Dire. It was clean to a certain degree.

I was very satisfied with the room & the reception staff. I think though that some improvements are needed with regard to the bar offering and the restaurant. When I got to breakfast on Sunday morning there were lots of dirty dishes piled up & there were no more glasses for juice. I also think the staff need not make excuses when asked for something. I had to make a fuss in order to get a cappuccino because apparently the coffee machine was turned off.
