A Most Underwhelming Experience

Arrival was difficult. Although the hotel has paid parking, there are no clues where this might be on arrival. I parked in the street (free). Check I'm was okay. Got to my room and the air conditioning wasn't working. Went to reception but it was suggested I open the window and enjoy the fresh air. I asked for another room - not possible, full. I asked if I would receive some refund and was told that, although reception could do this, they'd leave it to the manager. Will be interesting what happens. Went to the bar and waited and waited. Finally served by one of the two receptionists. Others waiting too. Appeared only food option was pizza. A guest asked if they had Champagne and was told yes - was actually given Rotkäppchen! It's a hotel turning over lots of people without any personal feeling. Expected more for almost €140.

Wir freuen uns, dass Ihnen der Aufenthalt bei uns gefallen hat.Leider gehört eine Kaffeemaschine oder kostenfreies Wasser im Zimmer nicht zum ibis Styles Standard, Sie erhalten in der Lobby kostenfreies Wasser und Heißgetränke. Leider verfügen wir über keine eigene Tiefgarage, Sie können kostenfrei in den Strassen rund um das Hotel parken oder können mit voriger Registrierung in das 100 Meter entfernte kostenpflichtige Parkhaus fahren. I like the place, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast very good and various. One thing, there was a door in my room communicating with the room next to mine, and it was not locked. I don't like it. Room 202
