Unfriendly, unprofessional staff

We have stayed here several times & returned because we enjoyed the hotel and the restaurant. But on this occasion the reception staff were unfriendly and the service in the restaurant where we ate our evening meal was appalling as was the man serving at the bar. They were only interested in talking and laughing with each other, ignoring guests and despite only 8 customers making us wait for a long time. The food was disappointing as well. Booked an executive room which was poor as well.

The Novotel Reims Tinqieux is ideally situated if you want a "pit stop" on your way to further destinations. The room was comfortable, and we enjoyed some drinks in the bar. Breakfast was a bit disappointing though. A breakfast in an bis Styles is included in the room price and was better, so we won't be having breakfast there again, but would definitely stay again

As always, checked in and were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. The room was spacious and comfortable, although providing a choice of soft pillow would be welcomed. Had an evening meal and the food was excellent. Breakfast the following morning was good with a varied selection of hot and cold and for me, nice to have gluten free bread on offer.
