Pleasant stay

It was very good. My only gripe was the drunk and drinking people at the pool, quite noisy and loud. When swimming I kept on coming across lemon slices, straws, and other stuff that came from the bar. Also, the pool looked rather cloudy and dirty when I was swimming there. The room was great and clean, however the bed was quite soft, like the mattress was rather worn. Other than that, it was a very nice and relaxing stay, which is what I was looking for.

Great stay during school holidays

We have returned to the Cairns Novotel Oasis during school holidays because it's such a great place for kids. They love the huge beach pool and the kids activities every day. There seems to be quite a lot of new staff which is great. Also saw a few familiar faces. Service at the bar areas was at times very slow. We would have purchased a lot more food and drink if we didn't have to wait so long! I think QR codes at all tables, including around the pool, is definitely an opportunity for the Novotel.
