White-glove service provided by the lovely Natalia and Claudia at reception. Natalia has a great sense of humor that had us laughing. Claudia paid attention to detail when providing our Amex credits and explaining our invoices. She did things right the first time which we appreciate. Throughout our stay the team was kind and gave us the one of a kind Mexican Hospitality. Our server Edgar and the manager for our last dinner gave us some traditional Mexican gifts as a farewell. Frida and her colleague who served us delicious afternoon ice-cream. I wish I could remember everyone’s name because they all deserve recognition. Highly recommend staying at Sofitel Reforma!

I’ve absolutely adored my time in the Sofitel. Reception was always quick and the kindest, if I could name names I would but genuinely everyone was so amazing. The restaurants in the hotel were all very good and the wait staff always left me feeling welcomed. Guest services never disappointed and in so thankful that they were there to help my stay. Gina was always quick to get me an answer or solution to anything I needed and made sure to check on me when she could. Club millesime was definitely my favorite part of the stay. The food was good and the drinks were cold. Frida always gave us a warm welcome and made sure we were attended too and Laura made one of the best micheladas I’ve had! The hotel itself was in a great place with a lot of cool restaurants and bars not too far. The angel is visible from the hotel and it was so amazing to be able to see it from the hotel rather than just looking up at it. I’m definitely looking forward to my next stay!!

I got in really early at about 5:30am and did not expect my room to be ready. They offered to get me into my room if I paid an additional 106$ dollars. I declined since I had plans to go and explore the city. They took my luggage and told me they would place my items in my room when it was ready. At about 4:00pm I came in to pick up my keys. There was a long line to check-in. Not a problem though. The front desk manager came over to the line, skipped me, and greeted the couple behind me. She apologized to them for the wait but completely ignored me. When it was my turn, I mentioned I needed to pick up my keys and wanted to make sure my luggage was sent to my room. The woman asked me for a ticket. I hadn’t been given one. She then laughed and said the luggage should be in my room. I go up to my room, no luggage. I go back downstairs where the manager now greets me because she can see I’m a concerned about my missing luggage. She then asks someone to go and find my luggage. Aside from the bad service, the hotel is new but already has been beaten up quite a bit. If you choose to stay here, and I hope you don’t, simply look at the walls going to the guest room elevator to see how dirty they are. If your looking for a true 5 star experience spend the extra bit and go to the Ritz, Four Seasons, or St. Regis. I dined at the Ritz and was treated with absolute respect even though I wasn’t staying there.

Great amenities. Pillows were stiff.

Overall I didi like it. However pillows ere stiff and uncomfortable. Nobu has way better pillows. Also, the pink paint looks tacky and ugly. Brings down the whole luxury hotel theme to motel.
