Had a wonderful stay at Fairmont Dubai . Probably one of the best suites we every stayed ! Location is perfect with close proximity to Metro and all major attractions . Special thanks to Salmaan from reception for taking excellent care . We are vegetarians and chef was kind enough to make special dishes for us . Overall very happy with the stay .

Teddy the Concierge is very friendly and attentive. He is very sympathetic and put always a smile on our face. Best man!!!! You can reach everything very fast from the Hotel. The cleanliness is also good. The breakfast could be more deverse.

Nice hotel, friendly staff and cleaning is good. I stayed for 1 month relocating from my country for a new job and the company put me here. It was a good choice the location is near DIFC and downtown and metro station is just under the hotel so it is easily accessible.

Poor response to complaint

I had a 7 night stay and the smoke alarm went off around 1 am on 6 April 2024. It awoke me from my sleep and I was unable to return to sleep for some hour. (as I actually opened the door to make sure that it was not a false alarm and check that people weren't running out of their rooms) It only went off for 2/3 rings and then stopped itself. I thought it was just a rogue alarm so didn't complain but then it went off again the next night (again awaking me in the middle of the night). This time I did complain to reception to the same receptionist that checked me in - she apologised and said that it would be fixed. The next night (8 April), the alarm did not go off so I thought she had the problem fixed. The next night afterwards, the alarm went off again (early about 4-5 am) and went for 4-5 rings. Again I checked outside the room and decided it was another false alarm but by the time I went back to sleep, I didn't wake until 11 am and missed an appointment. At about 1 pm, on my way out to a re-scheduled appointment, I complained to the manager, Kazem Farid, in person and he offered me a free breakfast and a room upgrade. As I was leaving Dubai so checking out the next morning at 5 am, the breakfast was of no help and as I was running to a re-scheduled appointment, I could not return to my room to pack and move rooms. I last sleep over 3 nights and have been offered an upgrade or discounted rates on my return to the property next visit.
