Not what you expect from a mecure. The rooms are very tired, more 80's than 21st century, the gym is a box room with even older equipment. Extra charges to use the pool, and the price of food is extortionate for pub grub, which is really poor quality, overall very disappointed. On a plus which is the ONLY one, the staff at the bar are lovely and incredibly welcoming

I had a lovely stay at Mercure Haydock!! I was checked in quickly and provided all the information I needed for my stay. The food was great. The staff were lovely, in particular Michelle who came to my rescue when I’d realised I’d forgotten to pack my toothpaste!! She was really personable, genuine and nothing was a bother for her. Thank you Michelle!

After a long journey it made a refreshing change to be welcomed by such a friendly team at reception, Michelle and Sara were extremely efficient and welcoming. All facilities of the hotel were explained well and they offered their assistance for any other queries during my stay. Keep up the excellent work team Mercure Haydock… believe me it makes a big difference when you are on the road all the time.

Sara and Michele were on hand to welcome me to the Mercury Haydock in a very professional manner after a long drive from Scotland. They were very thorough with their explanation of the hotel, my room and the gym/pool area. Both of these people will encourage me to return to the Mercure when on business

Was voor zaken in dit hotel en wat mij dadelijk opviel was dat dit een Heel fijn Hotel is en een zeer vriendelijke en professionele ontvangst heeft en dit vooral van Michelle aan de receptie. Ze was zeer behulpzaam en helpt je dadelijk indien er een probleem is.
