My room category was confirmed by email when I made my room reservation. When I asked after arriving at the hotel why I had been given a better room than the one I had booked, I was told that I had received a free upgrade. At the end of the stay I had to pay for the more expensive room. never again!

However, we sincerely regret any misunderstanding that may have led to incorrect billing at the end of your stay. Furthermore, I am at a loss to explain how this could have happened given that you have a negotiated rate... We appreciate your comments and take this matter very seriously. The staff were all lovely but the hotel is tired and desperately needs a refurb. Very disappointing

DawnDancer Couples - TripAdvisor review

Just for one night on way to Austria. Really big room comfy bed hot water We did not attempt to eat or drink as bar very small and restaurant closed. We arrived at 8pm. So we headed to the local Italian across the road which was lovely 30 euros a head. Receptionist when arrived was lovely and efficient considering we were a coach load
