Overall good experience, but the room was not well cleaned, also the bed sheets were stained with blood

Amenities and location are fine, I am however expecting better housekeeping services and maintenance. We are a family of 4 staying 2 nights in there. On the first day I found we are shorting one pair of slippers so was intending to call the frontdesk for help. The phone has no wire attached - it's a display. I grabbed the phone with me to the frontdesk to report the wire issue, was told that would be fixed on the next day. On the second day I found there was a blood stain on the duvet, and we were sure it's not ours as we have no wound at all. Being horrified as I had slept one night with that unknown stain, I wanted to call the frontdesk for help but again the phone still had no wire. Eventually I had to walk to the reception again, for them to send a housekeeper changing the duvet cover. The experience was certainly unpleasant. I felt tired keep walking to the frontdesk, and wonder is that purely my bad luck.

4/4 days one of the 2 traning machines was out order. The gym is a joke for a hotel of that size! 3/4 days the bathroom was dirty, on the arrival day there was pubic hair everywhere… disgusting 2/4 my pyjama was put on the floor by the cleaning time…. Pffff 1/4 the bathroom was soaking wet and looked if someone had taken a bath inside-proposal from the front desk: we can send someone tomorrow 1/4 there where no towels in the hotel room. When I came bed my bed was full of towels. Maybe a solution in between would better …

Unfortunately my car got broken in to during my first night there (so obviously not nice and pitty on the paid parking of the hotel). However, the staff treated me very well. Starting with Joris.. he was very empathetic and supportive, calling Carglass/ looking for solution, etc.. The next morning, the GM took the time to pass by at breakfast to discuss/show interest. I appreciate it when, during incidents, staff steps up. Thats what happened.. well done!
